EDT~ ep. 64~18.1.18, My stance: That man in the moon..
Every time she looked by her side, his elusive presence eludes her. But the heart hangs on to her imaginary true likeness of her beloved's face in the silvery opaque orb high up, out of her reach!.Oh! seeing him in the moon, renders her out of touch with reality, but it's a conciliation she clings on to! Their love allows them this dispensation surely, these united eternally yet unconnected within the laws of nature,sad souls.
Had he asked for the moon, Sharanya would have done it , that's why she's back in the fold from whence she came from. Shiv expects her to adhere to what they agreed upon. But Sharanya has her own agenda, which surprises him slightly, given the gravity of the situation. It's a sweet alteration between the two, how real it seems. He growls at her defiance, he recalls she always ,like many moons ago, went the opposite way to what he suggested. Sharanya back chats he as always thought of her as a weakling! He just has to trust her love! by going against his decision to do a runner, she decides to stay and hunt out the one who killed him ! separated them. Shiv realizes he rubs her the wrong way ,and clarifies the reality that its not her love he distrusts, its her life that concerns him! Bedi's are unscrupulous, dangerous people who stop at nothing to remove any threats they sense! But for Sharanya it's about matching up his courageous commitment to her! so defined, that he died for her! then returned from the grave to continue to be her guardian angel in a house of hell! Now its Sharanya's turn to hunt out the person who took her love from her!
Shiv's Sharanya lives to seek justice for her true love's untimely death! She moans , she asks for his help! If he refuses, then she will continue to fight on alone! Like she always did before he returned in her life. Shiv stares at her defiant face.. stubborn as a mule always! digging her heels in! This girl is not for falling weak, reversing or turning in she decides ! alas! It's her love for him that makes her so. The scene is like a lovers tiff! a banter between husband and wife. Two souls madly in love! so real..it's painful to face it's actually a scene cast beyond the moon, so to speak.. Sharanya, protests, he poses obstacles in her way! deters her from getting to the real culprits! Shiv gives up and discloses, his killer had a black birthmark on his left leg! Sharanaya stops short!
She recalls, Sadhvi's warning ! that her husband's life will be in danger by a man with the black birth mark on his leg! Shiv nods and Sharanya feels cheated, he hadn't disclosed this to her earlier! Shiv retorts had he done so! she would have begun her search earlier! But he watches her face.. there is intrepid fury in it ! she will fish out the culprit even if its Vyom!! she goes off to change for the KC opening fast ceremony in the garden!!
Karvachauth for all.. for Sharanya blood moon.. an ill omen.. one look at Vyom , brings Shiv's words to her.. still she has to put up a performance, like Madhvi ,even Rati who breaks down ,under the strain of Vidyut's mysterious absence.. the family women given her false assurances, goad her to drink water and break her fast. Shiv in mute, discloses to Sharanya Vidyut won't be coming back! some one killed him in the warehouse! Probably same person who killed him! After all Vidyut possessed a letter that contained a lot of information of their past!
Shiv a spirit has compassion as compared to the cold blood of a human! Vyom. Shiv is moved by Rati's tears, he bids Sharanya to tell Rati that Vidyut would not be returning! Bids her to prepare Rati with the possible reality!
Sharanya appears intently attentive to someone invisible. Vyom suspects foul play.. for Sharanya its no rocket science to work out it has to be none other than Shiv! still seeing the gravity of the situation, and also given the fact that Rati was always cordial to her, Sharanya too, shows false comfort so Rati breaks her fast. Shranya regrets, she withholds information from Rati ,as if she says more, about the truth , the killer, Vyom mght get vigilant ,and that would be disadvantageous to her plan.. Rati is overcome by grief.. both Sharanya and Rati hug, two women inadvertently bearing a similar grief, off losing their loved one ,slain by the one murderer! Vyom!
Cry for the moon.. Rati does, as Vyom muses, it's next to impossible for Vidyut to return, he had doused him in a slow burning acid bath! To be wasted away ,drained through the plug hole without any trace! Again another one added to his catalogue of sins! Vyom coldly reflects, all's fair and just in love! here he stands as impulsive! a little adventurous! but above all an insane lover! The one who gets away with anything to do with matters of the heart! Notice he speaks in verses..
Over the moon, Sharanya is in her love! even though dead ,it's alive and what's more, right beside her here in the ceremony. Of course she prays for the longevity of their eternal love, that transcends beyond the realms and bounds of nature. Her being alive , forced him to return! come alive in her! around her! he is her man in the moon.. real but unreal! It's his face she sees in the moon , none others!
Its Shiv's hand she desires to quench the thirst of her soul! Shiv's face saddens, she barks at the moon! asks in vain.Even though Sharanya was his only soul mate, she asks for the moon! Death binds his feet.. pity he cannot break his beloved's fast. After the worship Sharanya catches the sight of the moon in the frame of her sieve.. she turns to capture the face of the one she dearly loves unconditionally. This loved face that now stays with her continuously, and has no reason to wander away from her now! Shiv's finally found her whom he sought for the past two years!
They both, especially Sharanya , refers to their past where the full moon shone in the dark night! many moons ago. But she had her love right before her ! the heart went impulsive!, observed the faith rituals.It was karvachaut, she was dressed in yellow , the colour of turmeric, a cleansing and purifying agent!. Her eyes on Shiv's face, enamoured by him, she covered her head with the sheer yellow veil, peeped through the sheer veil at the majestic moon! That held her beloved Shiv's face , her moon on earth now before her! he gives her reason to live and love. He is the cause of joy and smiles.. being without him , brings fear into her heart! They recall how she slowly lowered her veil from his forehead, captured the view of his soulful eyes.. dewy.. overcome they were. Sharanya is the one and only relative he had in this whole world! Sharanya had gulped, lowered her veil. With his tears, she had broken her fast..her palms had cupped his face, her lips had brushed on his cheek, with a promise, his she remained till her dying day, Shiv's Sharanya, Shiv's Sharanya he had echoed. So much love ,he had said humbly, that he was unsure if he deserved it ! Now in the present moment she gives Shiv a sided stare and tries to remind him of their karvachauth many moons ago!
Vyom stands before her expectantly, literally has to move the sieve in his direction. Shranaya's eyes plead before Shiv, to move from the side and take by force that prerogative over her, that is rightfully his! Shiv intercepts and Sharanya glances up at the moon, then frames the sieve over Shiv's face right before her! Vyom stands behind Shiv, beaten at his deviousness ! this time though! Shiv stands as a wall between him and Sharanya just as she desires !yours forever their eyes emote. Hamlet53 19.1.18
Moving scene between Shiv, Sharanya .. a repeat of how things were and will be in their pure eternal love. Sharanya works to an agenda. Shiv for his love's sake is forced to stay by her to ensure her safety. She wastes no time, seeks the black tell tale birth mark , upon an asleep Vyom. He demands what does she seek? As if he doesn't know? Her talking to space has already placed her on the scanner before him. plus something tells me ,he might have done something to conceal the birthmark. He has had warning...
