He is angry at his dad...he is just diverting that anger on Sameer as he is not able to understand how this boy could be so happy amidst all the problems in life...he is not able to take that Sameer has courage to take decisions of his own and is bold to do that...he envy's Sameer that is his main problem to top it all guilt that he cheated during exams...If Sameer was not there then they all would have chose Arjun as the school head boy...
