Is it me or does anyone else think this man is a tyrant? Always shouting, always ruling everyone, always screaming... They don't love this guy but are afraid of him.

Perfect and I feel asmo is giving lot of unnecessary importance to this guy...

if u see because of this guy...no new elders are introduced as if all vasis are orphans...

he is the most irritating character in tmkoc... 😡

And the character is inconsistent. He isn't the same person with Mahila Mandal or Daya's brother Sundar. He blasted Jetha because he was late for dinner although it was because of a business call but for when Daya was late for home he didn't die of hunger. Again he could cook for Daya and all other women of GD society that day but when Daya went to Amdavad he was waiting for Jetga to come home. He could have cooked something for his son also. The same logic is applied when he diminishes Jetha's hard work in his business but appreciates how hardworking Daya is.

Hypocrisy is when he wants to control Jetha as being his father but won't let Jetha do thr same to his son. Bachpan ke kisse is deliberately brought to humiliate Jetha.

Everything is good within its limits. Who is he to not let Iyyer stay in his own flat or to ask Mehta to leave his home even if they were having an affair? Again he wont speak a word against Sundar who is a regular offender and also a relative.Asit Modi is stretching his guardiangiri a bit too far and its not funny anymore.
