Sonam Kapoor on marriage rumours: Is anyone asking Ranbir Kapoor-Ranve

With Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's
private wedding in Tuscany, Italy, rumours
have been rife about many Bollywood
couples following suit and planning to get
hitched in 2018.
One such rumoured couple is Sonam Kapoor
and beau Anand Ahuja.
When the actress was asked by a leading
tabloid about the rampant wedding
rumours, Sonam questioned, "Why are
actresses asked more about their personal
lives? Is anyone asking Ranbir Kapoor or
Ranveer Singh when they are getting
married?"
While Sonam pries away from talking about
Anand, her social media PDA have a different
story to tell. On why she refuses to divulge
details on her personal life, Sonam stated,
"Nobody has the right to access my personal
life. This one part has to be in my control. I
am ready to talk about me, but there is
another person involved here and I need to
respect him."
Earlier, about Anand, Sonam had said on a
leading entertainment podcast, "Because
that's in my control and I don't feel that I can
speak about myself but I don't think it's okay
for me to speak about somebody else. Now
everything that is put out there is with his
permission or whatever he puts out there is
with my permission. But if somebody is
asking me a question publicly I don't think
it's okay for me to speak about the person
because that person has not signed up for
it. This is just keeping it a little sacred. Just
keeping it in my control, whatever is out
there is in my control, it's not something
that is not. I just feel that it's not okay to talk
about it. I will share whatever I have to
share and that is with my filter."
On the work front, Sonam will next be seen
in R. Balki's PadMan which is based on
Arunachalam Muruganantham and also stars
Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte. PadMan is
slated to release on January 25, 2018.

Ranbir has been asked about marriage sooo many times! And the only reason people are asking her about marriage is because there are rumors! Not that journos are all decent but in this case she is coming off as rude.

How is she rude ? Journos are asking Salman because he's an oddity. All his contemporaries are married or went through a marriage.

She isn't saying there isn't anyone is she? She is simply refusing to talk in depth details about it!! Cz of course it's her personal life and she isn't bound to share anything she doesn't want to!

I just don't understand how a female celeb living her life as she wants and being with the person she wants and not hiding it and refuting it's existence makes it an obligation for her to talk to the media about it?
She isn't putting up their pics or is spotted being with that person to please the media or for publicity. Those pics are captured Cz there is an actual relationship. Which she doesn't wanna talk in detail to anyone about. So why is this an issue?

People like Anushka, Sonam are as much drama queens as Deepika or Katrina and the rest. Just a ploy to act private while letting out all details themselves. Anushka subjected us to one month long private wedding drama. Bracing for more during Pari promotions. Sonam will do likewise and more during VDW promotions. These entertainment journalists are the most faltu lot who lap up everything and serve it to us. Anyway I am glad 2018 will spell the end of two mediocre 'actresses' who should have never appeared to torture audiences on the silver screen.

Ranbir was asked because he was dating one of the top females and rumors were strong regarding them. Wasn't he mainly asked during promos of movies he did with her ?

Sonam has said she shares whatever she wants to share. It's enough. Why get greedy and ask for more ?

I don't think saying she doesn't want to say anything more is hypocrite because we all know how detrimental marriage rumors can be for an actress.

Anushka kept denying until she got married. Katrina seems to have more offers now than she did when she was still with Ranbir because people thought she was settling down.

Its okay to not share it, but dont make it a gender based issue.
Asking about marriage doesn't depend on gender, getting good challenging work post marriage, is the gender based issue.

i bet they be more afraid if they are not asked about it
