This AT is dedicated to the most enchanting couple of Ek Deewaana Tha,

SHIV and SHARANYA, our, ShivAnya

Namik Paul started his career as a journalist and later he started modeling too. He first appeared onscreen as Ahsaan in the 4th season of Qubool Hai on Zee TV. He made a debut in a leading role as Shravan Malhotra in Ek Duje Ke Vaaste aired on Sony TV. He did a travel show Befikre Belgium Ke of SBS segment on Aaj Tak. He was also seen in a web series, The Trip on Bindaas TV. He hosted TV Show Aye Zindagi.

Donal has worked in several TV shows and short films before getting her first major acting break on the small screen by replacing Sritama Mukherjee for the role of Sakshi, the female lead's younger sister in "Kalash- Ek Vishwaas", which aired on Life Ok channel.

ShivAnya would haven't been possible without these two amazingly awesome and talented actors DONAL BISHT And NAMIK PAUL aka

DoMik!!

Their first impressions about each other-

DONAL About NAMIK :- Everybody knows he is 6'4. when he comes in, lagta hai koi aaya hai kamre mein(laughs). He is nice and very friendly. He is always very jolly in nature, very talky-talky and like happy-happy types!

NAMIK About DONAL:- Yami Gautam. She walked into the room, we were waiting for her, mock shoot tha. And I was like yeh toh Yami Gautam aa gayi hai (both laughs). Then, director started explaining the shot. We said "Hi" and I said "You look like Yami Gautam." and she was like "Haan! Mujhe bohot sun ne ko milta hai!" She is very confident and is great to work with!

Just because MR. PAUL loves to workout!

The name of the destroyer, the God of Gods in Hindu mythology. The all powerful, whose silence and simplicity is the mirror of eternal beauty..whose anger casts devastation on all.

Ek Dewaana Tha, portrays Shiv as the "wordless enigma"..The yet unrevealed man...an entity whose persisting presence thickens man's blood with cold.

The hollow of his black eyes though lifeless arent bereft of emotions. The magic that emanates from those jewels, enchants us to trust in the good that he hides in his black robes.
The mortal longing of love that pulls him back to this realm.

The few secret chords that long to get strung in his tunes.

The longing of being recognised by his love, for her memories are the only shrine that reserve him in utmost silence.

The angst for revenge plagues his mind, the plea for justice strives to be heard. Shiv is not just a spirit, he is an aura, he is strength, he is the driving momentum of the story.

We know not what he was in life or death, we know nothing of him, and it is this nothingness that allures us.An aspiring musician, a lover, having lost his life at youth and now a mystery.

Sharanya...the name of the feminine counterpart of Lord Shiva,
the one who completes him. The mother of all creations and the destroyer of the evil.

Sharanya is beauty in simplicity. Ever since her revival, she strives to search a major part of her existence that she had lost in those two years. She is restless to understand the persisting existence of the entity that haunts her life.

Lost in plight and blind in misunderstandings she searches for Shiv for avenging her father's death. Engulfed in a sea of confusions, she struggles to know her past, to know Shiv.

Sharanya ka Shiv...

Shiv ki Sharanya...

Little do we know them. Yet eyes tell more than words often do.

Shiv's never dying watch on her, his obsession, his care, his self investment to the extent of resurrecting himself after death, hints only towards love and eternal love.

Shivs conviction and Sharanya's confusions regarding a distant connection she feels , fuels the fire of a love story called Shivanya, that has emerged out of the clutches of death and diffidence.

He has saved her, yet blinded in obsession he's harmed her. His love is eternal yet compromised, a very unconventional tale...

The story has only begun...

Through a conundrum of fear, mysteries, oblivion and escaping the poking fingers of death...Sharanya finally touches the mantle and removes the ashes to unrobe the masked entity...
But she doesnt seek the demanded revelation...what she digs out from that ice...is not a corpse, not a hidden devil...but her very own life looking back at her, with still eyes.

The ice had safely hidden the Pandora box of the the most beautiful truth of her life...the key to the treasure stood infront of her, unbodied, wordless, all this while.

She finally could connect the dots, fill the hollow gaps, identify the blurred images...

It was her Shiv, her love, her life, her soul that was lingering around her all the time...trying everything possible to remind her of her truth, their truth..and all this time she had misinterpreted everything possible...

They had a journey of their life...in the not every distant eons, when friendship had developed into blooming love, where their hearts had conceded a single dream, of oneness, of happiness, of simple joys of love...

She was his, he was hers, defiant of every obstacle their love story had flown in the autumn skies spreading it's wings of wild passion...it was a celestial charisma..their fates were connected from birth...

But time was sinister, the world was cruel...and how mercilessly how brutally were these two separated by the clutches of death and oblivion...

But, as real as dramatic it sounds, every play has two parts. Fate has had its sinister games in the first, now it's truth that has to triumph and it will triumph, for breaking the laws of nature, the long gone hero is back to claim justice.

Arm in arm Shivanya will have their share of justice...

Since, the show has started, our Deewaana, Shiv, has only talked through couplets. He expressed his every emotion be it love, pain, anger, possessiveness, jealousy, sadness, happiness through his beautiful couplets only.

Let's look at some of his most beautiful couplets for his love, Shranaya❤️

"Suna hai sard mausam mei puraani yaadein aati hai,

Mujhe bhi yaad karlo tum, mujhe tum yaad aati ho."

"Ek muddat se tujhe dekh raha hu,

Phir bhi aisa lagta hai, tujhe thik se dekha nahi,

Mera junoon, meri zid, mera deewaanapan,

Tune yeh ishq abhi thik se dekha hi nahi"

"Khatam is dil ki sabhi tujhpe aarzu hogi,

Meri nazron ko ek teri justaju hogi,

Hai intzaar mujhe bis us lamhe ka,

Jab tera mai banu aur meri tu hogi"

The conjurer

will conjure a string of fairy lights

that will sparkle like the stars

and bring light to your life.

He will compose a string of lilting melodies

that will calm and sooth bringing sweet harmony.

He will conjure a garland of sweet scented flowers,

bright in their colors and intense in their scent-

filling your world with their fragrance.

But at dawn, under the cloak of darkness,

He will bring with him the fragments of his wounded heart,

-the broken strings of fairy lights, the scent of wilting flowers and the broken chords of his music of love,

At your doorstep he will stand with his wry smile of irony

and conjure up a whole new life.

You and I

let our loneliness lie

down and engulf us

at night.

You and I

let our emptiness cry

out loud until

all other sounds

die.

You and I

let our memories blur

as the thick fog rises

to veil midnight skies.

You and I

let our love hide

as milky white stargazers

shine under moonlit skies.

You and I

watch the world move on

as we get stuck

in a web of lies.
