They should at least be tax-free imo. I don't think some goverments would have the means to provide every women of their country with sanitary napkins.

Agree with Akshay K in this topic.. Govt should make Pads / Sanitary napkins as tax free.. then atleast more women will be inclined to buy them..

Is it preaching or raising awareness about people's needs?

Think of the forgotten people who don't have toilet home or can't afford sanitary napkins (or hygienic methods to deal with periods). The government shouldn't forget those people. Not everyone have their basic needs covered.

Movies can be made to entertain as well as to raise awareness imo.

Should be tax free but not "free"... Stop depending on Gov for everything (that's what Akki's character says in Lovestory about Toilet 😊)
