Nimki's mother was a good singer and an ambitious woman. When she got a chance to prove herself she went against her husband and chose her career. Monl was a baby then. However, Mahua didnt seem to be that young to not know her mother had left them all of a sudden.

I think Rambachan needed help then but he couldn't ask for it. It was a tricky situation. He needed counselling and proper guidance himself to help Nimki. That he chose not to talk about his wife, to throw away all her memories and to hide her existence from other two children has created this situation today.His fear of failure, of losing another dear one has made him a weak man. He wants accept all her flaws without contradicting or questioning her.Its not about Nimki but its about himself.
