Gorgeous Katrina Kaif seems to have made a place in the wishlists of many filmmakers.
The constantly rising actress has now signed a new film titled Blue . The film already stars Akshay Kumar and Lara Dutta .
Reportedly, Priyanka Chopra was first considered for the role of the film's second heroine. However, the actress apparently did not want to start a fresh round of rumours linking her with Akshay. So she thought it better not to do this film with Akki.
Consequently, the production house Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision approached Katrina Kaif for the role.
Katrina and Akshay, who are already one of the hottest jodis in Bollywood, will be working together for the fifth time.
Apart from Katrina, Sunil Shetty has also been signed for the film.
'Blue' is likely to go on the floors in the second half of 2008. The film is rumored to have a whopping budget of Rs. 100 crore. The movie will be directed by a foreign ad filmmaker named Tony.
