C 42: Starting from the funny part of Heera's challenges with keeping away the binoculars from her maids, then her getting used to it & discovering all the uses, we get a glimpse of both her naughtiness & her struggles to keep a straight face in front her clan. Later on the dilemma her mind faces in taking a peek at her lawfully wedded Pati. You summed it all in the sentence...

Awww I am glad you noticed what it all boiled down to... the fact that she liked watching her husband in armour... much as she claimed to not like the 'Ustaad' and yet this avtaar of his sent more tingles down her spine than she could care to count!

Now it will be treat for us to see her melt towards the Ustaad !

The scene where AMK discusses the next actions with his core team reveals to us how he approaches each mission & his interactions with his close buddies. Even though we have gotten glimpses of these previously just the line below sums it up who the boss is.

Akbar's stares remained unwavering - not even interrupted by a blink. And anyone who knew the man, knew it meant he wouldn't budge.

The next scene where the leads meet in his chamber takes us through some intense moments & the leads mind games of which both are pros. That whole saga was electrifying with several Thuds'. The way how Heera figures out a way to get AMK to succumb to her request & how AMK is stumped when it comes to her wants & needs was very well brought forth to us.

yes both are pros when it comes to suave tit-for-tats. Thanks for going 'Thud'. Heera is learning the art of understanding her husband's biggest weakness (Strength) - HER!

I guess you have also effectively silenced the request for a board game between them for now by giving us this sweet rendezvous instead. 👍🏼

All that emotional drama & romance with not a finger being laid by AMK on Heera. It's heartening to see him trying to keep his end of the hill top promise with the greatest of self control.

Now to the final part of this chapter. I had wanted Chachajaan to be the one to deliver the initial story of AMK's past & it came true 😊. An adult's version of what happened during his painful childhood was needed for Heera to grasp the gravity of the grave period in his life. Even if AMK would have been forthcoming with his past with Heera it would not be the same as an involved third person's perspective.

It's what I feel too... 😳

Having said that, it was another Thud' moment for me when I read that AMK not only knew about his Mom's whereabouts but she was also the reason for him for not taking residence at the capitol. This surprise twist deserves a 👏. How his Mom's revelation will all come together in the story is something we will need to W&W. But for AMK to lead a happy life with Heera a closure will be needed.

Frankly, I was quite taken aback that the 'mom' revelation surprised so many... but that it did, I hope it all doesn't fall flat on its face!

You had mentioned that " Not even the most hard-hearted of sons would be able to completely disassociate from a mother ". I'm not sure how much of understanding you wrote this with Lashy. But it hit a chord with me as I have witnessed some outcomes amidst loved ones & that is why I look forward to a closure for AMK.
