Did Aishwarya Rai Just Hire Salman Khan's Ex-Manager To Boost Abhishek Bachchan's Career?

Abhishek may not have tasted as much success as his father Amitabh Bachchan, but he has certainly managed to carve a niche for himself in the film industry with his unconventional roles in films like "Bunty Aur Babli", "Guru" and "Paa".

He may not have tasted as much success as his father Amitabh Bachchan, but he has certainly managed to carve a niche for himself in the film industry with his unconventional roles in films like Bunty Aur Babli, Guruand Paa.

However, if a report in Deccan Chronicle is to be believed, Abhishek's wife and actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan "felt his career needed a small push", and hence she decided to hire her alleged ex-boyfriend Salman Khan's former manager Reshma Shetty.

"Of late, he hasn't signed new films and is choosing to focus on the best possible projects. Following his revamped priorities, his first new project will be Sanjay Leela Bhansali's biopic on poet-lyricist, Sahir Ludhianvi. Reshma has been brought in to oversee Abhishek's forthcoming career moves and to position him as a prominent entertainment brand," a source was quoted as saying by Deccan Chronicle.

She is not just Salman Khan's ex manager. She is managing Akshay and PC (and perhaps a host of other stars as well). A lot of actors have the same managers.. usually it's the management firm headed by them. They have individual teams for each actor.

I don't know why do they even try- And I say this as someone who doesn't hate Jr & want him dead (figuratively speaking) like randoms do. I still do think he's a good actor but it's too late- He has been cknsistently rejected so a lead role is not going to do him any good. Supporting like HNY will because apart from DP, he was the best thing in it-- Lol not saying much seeing what a terrible film it is, but he did well.
