I think they have deliberately kept these two eisodes without the narrator and soon we'll have her back...maybe thats bcoz they want us to self decipher their emotions and feelings and the two leads are left to convey it all to us as viewers...which i feel they both are doing really well👏⭐️
The narrator would be back when we have Naina's upcoming disastrous times and we all are waiting for her to be back 😊

But I think what would have helped the scene is the narration. They need to bring back the narrator asap!! A couple of episodes without her, and you can really see the difference. She always explains the thoughts and actions of the characters so well, it really adds to their performances and helps us understand their actions better.

I feel the Narrator is kept out for a purpose.

They want the viewers not to get carried away by her opinion or narration.

Also except the "Oh meri jaan" song which was initially played, there was no background music too.

It was just the sound of the wind blowing. I liked it that way because both just went blank due to the overwhelming happenings and only once the situation does sink in, can they essentially react.

Good Analysis.

Also, Coming from a broken home, feeling unloved by his own mother, he would feel that he is not worthy of any love, any kind of redemption. He will believe what the world thinks of him, that he is a bad person. His own mother does not love him, so there must be something wrong with him. The bet did not help. He cannot see himself as just a kid who did a mistake. He cannot forgive himself. So, what is the point of even trying to talk to Naina after that. After all he is bad, so why try?

He has a difficult journey now to love himself first.

Well said.

Sameer probably does think himself as unworthy of love. And he does need to feel worthy of being loved or loving someone.
