Food Therapy for Brejesh.

We are what we eat! Health is wealth! Investing in our food is the smartest investment of all. If we take charge of our health by eating knowledgeably, we can have a healthy life. Nourish our body well and it will serve us well much longer.

People like Brejesh whose profession require them to think can nourish their brain with protein-rich diet.

Eating three meals a day at fixed times, in moderation and with lots of variety is recommended.

Brijesh being a vegetarian does not mean his diet will be lacking in protein, It is now thought that one of the benefits of vegetarian diet is that it contains adequate but not excessive protein.

The recommended proteins:

Pulses (peas, beans, lentils etc).

grains, (wheat oats, brown rice, barley wheat, millet, wholemeal spaghetti or pasta, wholemeal bread etc).

Nuts, (brazils, hazels, almonds, cashews etc).

Seeds, (sunflower, pumpkin. sesame etc).

Soya products, ( tofu, soya milk, and textured soya protein such as soya mince etc). Soya protein is actually equivalent in biological value to animal protein.

Free-range eggs and some dairy products, (milk cheese ans yoghurt etc).

Five portions of any type of fresh vegetables and fruits.

Also drinking a lot of mineral water is recommended.

Food Therapy for Veer and Bhabho.

To stay healthy, we should eat according to our age and physical needs. Over-eating or under-eating are both harmful to our health.

Older people like Veer and Bhabho whose digestive systems are weakening and who are less physical active should eat less and easier to digest foods.

A high fiber diet with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables are recommended.

Foods rich in zinc, such as fish and boultry, can improve immune resistance.

Tonic soups are best for seniors because they are easy to digest and absorb.

Fluids are crucial in promoting movement of and energy, preventing constipation and stagnation.
