Hola everyone! Hope everyone's fine and doing great. Sorry for the delay. It's flu season here and I was down with it. Took me a week to recover. Thank you for the sweet messages. I missed you all. Chapter 4
Days went by. Mahek had an excuse whenever Shaurya tried to have her checked by the doctors. Shaurya knew she was making excuses. That night they were walking and talking in Shaurya's lawn when Shaurya said. "I have taken a day off tomorrow to take you to the doctors,this time I won't listen to your lame excuses miss sharma! If you don't come willingly then I'm sorry I have to carry you on my shoulders." "Do I look like a sack of potatoes that you would carry me on your shoulders?" She signed. Shaurya chuckled. "Something like that!" He said. Mahek made an ugly face at him . He laughed. "If you laugh at me I'll punch you!" She warned him. "That can only be possible if you catch me cupcakes!" Shaurya ran from there. She chased him in the lawn. Karuna ma was on the terrace gathering some dried turmeric when her eyes fell on them. A smile appeared on her lips. "Bhagwan ji! Let her also fall in love with him!" Karuna prayed in her heart. Out of breath they stopped under the guava tree. "I want those!" She signed gesturing towards some ripe guavas. "Well,you will only get those when you promise me to come to the doctors tomorrow." Mahek nodded but in her heart she was saying no I won't promise. Shaurya picked some ripe guavas for her. "Because of the dark I only got few but tomorrow during the day I'll get you more." Smiling,she took the guavas from his hand and thanked him. Wiping it on his shirt,she took a bite. "Aren't you gonna have one?" "I don't eat anything at night." He said. He helped her on the swing and sat beside her. He talked and she ate. "My ajji is coming to stay with us for a while." He told her. "Accha? I would love to meet her!" She signed. "Of course! Now finish eating I'll walk you to your house,it's late and your mom must be worried for you." "No one really cares when I am with you.." she signed. Shaurya was really very happy to know that. His eyes fell on her lips. A guava seed was stuck to the corner of her lips. His stomach did a somersault and he gulped. How he wished to kiss and eat that seed away! "There's seed on your lips." He told her. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hands. The seed was still there. "It's still there." He said. "Then wipe it na!" She signed and continued eating. Touching her lips would be asking for trouble. He looked here and there for any sign of anyone. Finding no one around he sighed and looked at her juicy lips. "Your lips were made for mine, Mahek. You are the reason I have a mouth, a heart." He said in his heart as his fingers reached for her lips. When she ran her tongue over her lips,his hands dropped to his sides. "Bloody hell! Stop doing that or I'll kiss you!" He wanted to say. "Are you gonna wipe it off or what?" She signed. Shaurya just stared at her without a word. "Uff ho!" Leave it! I'll do it myself!" Signing,she reached for the hem of his shirt,lowering her mouth she wiped her lips on his shirt! "What the hell!" He pulled away. Mahek burst out laughing. Looking at her laughing face he also started laughing. She wove her fingers with his. "Walk me home." She signed. Shaurya poked on her nose and she pulled his. Both smiled looking at each other. Hand in hand they came to sharma house. "I'll come and get you in the morning okay?" Now go inside." Mahek nodded and walked to the main door. She was really scared for tomorrow's appointment. Her body was trembling out of fear when he called her. She turned to find him walking towards her. He reached out, capturing her hand in his. He laced his fingers casually through hers. Mahek leaned against him and the calm finally came, settling over her peacefully. And then he kissed her. Gently. Softly. Not on the lips, as he'd imagined so many times before, but on her forehead. "Good night cupcakes!" The gesture was sweet and a little possessive. Mahek hoped,their friendship to last forever. She hugged him with her arms around his mid back. "You are the sweetest friend I ever had!" She said in her heart when his arms came around her. "Go now!" Reluctantly he let her go. She went to the door and waved at him. He waved back until she disappeared behind the door. Shaurya sighed and came back to khanna mansion. He removed his shirt and his eyes fell on the lipstick mark Mahek had left there when she wiped her lips. He sat on the bed and ran his fingers on the mark. A smile crept on his lips. "Shaury,agaya tu? Did she agree for the appointment?" Karuna asked while coming in the room with a glass of almond milk. He hid the shirt behind him. "Han Han ma she she agreed!" He stuttered. Karuna placed the glass on the nightstand and saw his hand behind his back. "What is in you hand?" "Ku Kuch nai ma.."(nothing ma) He bit his tongue. Karuna ma pulled the shirt from behind him. "What is this then?" It's just a shirt ma." He said softly. "I know but why were you hiding it?" She examined the shirt thoroughly. "Arey this has marks on it ...its dirty! I'll go leave it in the wash." "No ma! please don't!" He snatched the shirt back from her hand. "I'll wash it myself...I think I heard dad calling you..go na mom!" He was escaping to the washroom when Karuna ma said. "It has Mehek's lipstick mark on it that's why you want to keep it na?" "Busted!" Shaurya scratched his head and turned to face his mom. His mom chuckled seeing his state. He sat down on the bed looking at the stain. Karuna ma sat beside him and caressed his head. "Do you want to tell me something?" Shaurya took her hands in his. "I love her mom! I don't know when it happened,how it happened ..but it just happened in the blink of an eye and she became my life." Karuna mom smiled. "I knew it beta...I just wanted to hear from you! I have no obligation ..We all love her since the first day she stepped in khanna house...she will be a perfect wife and a perfect bahu! Aur tum dekhna,she will talk one day and the very first word she will say is Shaurya!" Shaurya hugged his mom. "Thanks ma...she doesn't know that I love her yet ...she thinks of me as her best friend ...don't know how she'll react after knowing it,will she accept me or not?" Karuna rubbed his back. "She will accept you sooner or later beta...don't worry! Now go to bed you have lots to do tomorrow." Bidding good night,she left feeling happy and content. "Don't tell Simmi yet! I'll tell her myself!" Howled Shaurya.
Next morning right after breakfast,Shaurya left towards sharma house. Meera greeted him at the door. "Shaurya,Come have breakfast beta." "Thanks aunty I just ate. Is Mehek in her room?" He asked. "She went to your house...isn't she there?" Asked Meera. "I haven't seen her there...anyway I'll go find out." Bidding good bye Shaurya left. Meanwhile in khanna house,Simmi was sleeping as it was school holiday. Karuna was busy in the kitchen as Ajji was paying them a visit later that afternoon,and Harish was nowhere to be found,and vicky had left for the office. Finding no one around,Mahek left towards Shaurya's room. Even he wasn't there. "Good! Now I can hide and no one will find me! And my appointment will get cancelled!" Forgetting her phone on Shaurya's bed,she crawled under his huge bed and hid there. "Mahek!" His deep voice reached her ears and she held her breath. She saw him walking towards the bed. "Cupcakes,come out wherever you are we are running late!" Her perfume was in the air hence Shaurya knew she was in his room. Mahek didn't move. He scanned the room,suddenly his eyes fell on the phone lying on his bed. "Accha toh mautarma yaha hai!" He sat on the foot of the bed and removed his socks. She saw his feet. "What is he doing? Has he changed his mind about going to the doctors?" She wondered. He tossed his dirty socks under the bed and it landed on her pretty face! "Ewww!" She threw the socks away. Then his wet towel followed." "Chi! Stinky khanna!" She said in her heart. "Will you come out now? Or are you planning to settle down and raise a family under my bed?" He asked while peeking under the bed. Her eyes widened and jaw dropped. "You can never hide from me cupcakes,so next time don't even try!" He forwarded his hand. "Take my hand I'll pull you out." "No! I will not come! Cancel the appointment then I'll come!" She signed. "So you won't listen? Awaara? Did you manage to find the rats under my bed?" He shouted. "Rats? Under here?" She signed with panic stricken expression. "Yes they are right behind you!" Mahek screamed literally and crawled towards Shaurya as fast as she could. Shaurya clamped his lips to prevent a laughter from escaping. She hit her head on the bed frame and winced in pain. "Sambhal ke Mahek! Are you ok?" He asked as he pulled her out and steadied her on her feet. "My head!" He made her sit on the bed and examined her head. "Show it to me...kaha lagi?" She touched the head. Shaurya blew his breath on it to soothe the pain. "Ok now?" Mahek nodded in no. "Come here!" He rested her head on his chest and caressed her hairs. "What about now?" She still nodded in no and smiled on his chest. He leaned and kissed the crown of her head and kept his lips there for a prolonged period of time. She smiled and hugged him tight. "Any better?" He asked while rubbing her back. She broke the hug with a smile and signed. "Much better!" He pulled her nose. "Nautanki!"
An hour later they were sitting inside the doctors office. He had managed to convince her somehow. Mahek was sitting there holding his hand tightly. "Miss sharma I'll take you in for a CT scan." A nurse said. Mahek gave Shaurya a pained look. "You'll be ok I promise,the doctors will treat you well. Go now ..I'll wait for you here." "I'm not going anywhere without you!" She signed. "Cupcakes,they won't allow me in!" "Shaurya,you can come in too buddy." His Doctor friend said from the doorway. "Thanks yaar..I'll bring her in..let's go Mahek." He helped her to the scanning room. "Remove everything,leave your bra and underwear on and get in this gown." A nurse handed her a hospital gown. Mahek gave Shaurya a terrified look. "You go change I'll come back in few minutes." Saying that he was leaving when Mahek grabbed his hand. He turned. "You'll stay right here facing the wall and I'll change standing right behind you." She signed. Shaurya nodded and did as told. Few minutes later he was sitting by her bed,holding on to her clothes and watching her as the machine came over her. She squeezed her eyes shut and grasped her gown. "I'm right here watching you...you are doing great!" Shaurya told her. The scanning went on for half an hour. "All done! You did great miss sharma!" The Doctor said. "Shaurya,I'll see you in my office." Shaurya nodded and helped Mahek out of bed. Mahek hugged him tight. Shaurya wrapped his arms around her protectively. "You are ok..Kuch nai huwa hai tumey.. you are fine. Now get dressed and wait for me in the waiting room I'll be there shortly." He gently kissed her forehead and left.
Back in the doctors office. Shaurya paced the room waiting for the doctor to arrive. Finally his doctor friend entered the room with the report in his hand. "What is it yaar? Is she ok? She'll be able to talk na?" His Doctor friend sat down and showed him the report. "Well,I don't see any major injuries to her neck or in her nerves system ...during the accident she may have gone into shock...her nerves system must have been broken down or even damaged...I really need to know in what kind of accident she was involved. ..then I can treat her. But don't worry Shaurya she can talk and she will talk one day." Shaurya stood up and grasped the chair with both hands,tightly. "When yaar and How?" He was getting frustration. "I have two options! Option 1,If she sees a fatal accident,trauma or tragedy can send her body into shock and if she screams at that time then she'll get her voice back,option 2,you have to bring her to London for surgery." "He wanted to kick the chair away but when he saw her standing by the doorway he calmed down. "Miss sharma! Come inside and have a seat." The doctor said. She gave a questionable look to shaurya. He dropped down on the chair beside her without a word. The doc was about to tell her everything when Shaurya kicked him from under the table. He almost jumped and fell out of the chair. Shaurya glared at him angrily and his doctor friend understood what to say and what not to say. He cleared his throat and started speaking. "Miss sharma,there's nothing to worry about ...your voice will come back on its own!" Mahek smiled hearing that. She looked at Shaurya,he quickly forced a smile. "What is the first word you want to say miss sharma?" Asked the doctor. She grabbed a note pad and wrote, "SHAURYA!" And showed it to the doc. Doctor smiled and showed it to shaurya. Shaurya smiled with tears in his eyes. "I'll see you guys later Shaurya." Saying that the doctor left. Shaurya stood up to go when she grabbed his hand. He quickly blinked away the tears and turned towards her. She had seen tears in his eyes. "What happened? Aren't you happy that I'll be saying your name for the very first time?" She signed. Without a word he pulled her in his arms. "I will be the happiest person alive!" Mahek smiled and hugged him tight.
When they reached the khanna mansion,they found Meera and Rahil also present there. Simmi came running when she saw them stepping in the house. "Bhai,how did the appointment go? What did the doctor say?" Mahek was filled with tears seeing Simmi's concern for her. "It went well Simmi,and Mahek will talk when the time comes." He told her and tousled her hair. Simmi hugged Mahek and brought her inside. Meera and Karuna had heard what he said. "You are doing so much for us beta,thank you so much!" Meera said to shaurya. Shaurya took her hands in his. "It's my pleasure aunty...and please don't thank me all the time." Meera caressed his head. "In the days to come if you need me for anything I'll there for you beta..." Shaurya thought that was the right time to take her promise. "I do want something from you aunty." He said while looking at Mahek. Karuna understood very well what he wanted from her. "Bolo beta..kiya chahiye tumey?"(What is it that you want?). His gaze moved back to Meera. "I will ask when the right time comes and promise me that time you won't refuse." Meera lightly pat on his cheeks. "I promise!" Shaurya smiled and hugged her. "Lets go Mahek we have a flight to catch." Said Meera. "Flight? Sorry to interrupt but are you guys going somewhere?" Asked Shaurya. "We are going to U.K to attend sharma family reunion." Everyone looked surprised including Mehek. She hurried towards her mom. "Momma please I don't wanna go!" Mahek pleaded using her signs. "But beta I can't leave you here all alone for two weeks!" Said Meera. Excusing himself,Shaurya pulled Karuna ma in the kitchen. "Mom please do something but stop Mahek from going! You know I can't live without seeing her everyday and aunty is talking about two weeks!" Begged Shaurya. "I'll do something beta don't worry." Karuna cane back in the living room followed by Shaurya. Simmi gave him a suspicious look. "What is it that you are hiding from me bhai?" "I'll tell you later but for now just stop Mehek from leaving." He said softly. "Meera ji,if Mahek doesn't want to go then let her stay with us,she'll be safe here." Said Karuna. "Han aunty...cupcakes...I mean Mahek can stay here no problem." Added Shaurya. "Simmi,say something!" He hit her with his elbow. "First tell me you love her and soon you'll make her my bhabi!" Shaurya looked at Mahek who was looking at them figuring out what conversation they were having. "I love her! And yes I'll make her your bhabi." Simmi was thrilled and hugged his bro in excitement. "Thanks bhai! I can't believe it finally happened!" Shaurya hit her gently on her head. "Keep it to yourself for now and stop her from going!" "Ji bhai!" Simmi ran to Meera and hugged her. "Meera aunty you are the best and I love you! Please let Mahek stay with us! I have no school for a month ...and I'm already bored! Mahek can keep me company ..please maan jaao aunty." Simmi insisted. "Ok then! As you guys wish!" "Thank you thank you thank you!" Simmi did a happy dance with her and everyone laughed. Shaurya slowly walked to Mahek. "Happy now?" Mahek nodded with a smile so beautiful that his heart skipped beats. He was interrupted by Rahil. "Take care of my Di! I want to find my Di in one piece when I come back!" Shaurya picked him up and tossed him up in the air. He screamed with a laughter. "Don't worry buddy! Your Di is safe with me." "And don't forget my Di is scared of dark." Added Rahil. "I'll keep that in mind!" Shaurya assured him. Mahek took Simmi to get her belongings for two weeks stay. Meera bid good byes and was leaving when Shaurya hurried towards her. "Aunty,can I talk to you for a second?" "Of course you can!" Shaurya brought her out in the lawn. "Aunty I really want to know in what accident Mehek was involved and what really happened?" Meera sighed. "It was a car accident beta in which Mahek had lost her eldest sister who was 8 at that time and Mahek was 5,when she had screamed her body went into shock and since that day she never spoke." Meera was in tears and Shaurya was in shock himself. "I'm really sorry to hear that aunty ...I will do anything in my control to bring back her voice." Meera blessed him and left.
Later that evening,Ajji arrived in khanna house. Nobody was happy seeing her. Mahek wondered why. Shaurya introduced her to Ajji. "Ajji,She's Mahek,our neighbour and my best friend,and Mahek this is my grandma." Mahek touched her feet and took her blessing. "A boy and a girl can never be friends." Ajji said coldly. Mahek looked sadly at Shaurya. "Oh Ajji! she's my friend too! She doesn't come here for bhai only but also to meet me as well!" Simmi controlled the situation. "Hmm...Shaurya I need to have a word with you after dinner. I'll go take a nap,when dinner is ready call me." She said while looking at Karuna. "Bhai,when will our hitler Ajji leave?" Asked Simmi "I wish I knew!" Replied Shaurya. Karuna scolded them both. "Simmi,you go get the clothes from the terrace and Mahek beta,you come and give me a hand in the kitchen." Mahek nodded and left with Karuna. "Mom! What about me?" Asked Shaurya. "You go massage ajji's feet and she will tell you stories from the village!" "Nooo!" In a blink of an eye He disappeared in the thin air. Karuna and Mahek laughed and left towards the kitchen. Mahek made few dishes and the rest was made by Awara and Karuna. "Beta I'll go freshen up and come,until then you finish making the salad. Mahek nodded and looked for the ingredients. "Awara,you go I'll help miss sharma." Mahek turned to find Shaurya standing there with a grin on his face. Awara left them alone. "Didn't you do as Karuna aunty told you?" She signed. Shaurya hopped up and sat on the countertop where Mahek was working. "I didn't but I'll send you to do the massage." He said while grabbing a carrot from the bowl and munching on it. "I would love that!" She signed. "I bet you won't! You don't know how my Ajji is Mahek...avoid her as much as you can ..she'll hurt you with her words cupcakes...I'm telling you." Mahek wanted to ask him all about Ajji,why no one was happy when she stepped in the house but than she thought Shaurya won't like her being nosy. She mixed the vegetables while Shaurya poured the dressing. He looked at her face while she moved her hand. "Soon I'll bring you here permanently cupcakes." He said in his heart. "All done! Want to try some?" She asked. "Of course!" Mahek pushed a fork full of salad in his mouth. "Hmmm this is good!" Mahek smiled as he praised her for the skills she had in cooking. Going with the flow She threw him few flying kisses. "I love that! Can I get some more?" Mahek realized what she did,lowering her gaze she blushed. Shaurya saw her cheeks changing shades of pink. "Cupcakes,look at me!" Mahek nodded in no. He reached for her chin and lifted it up for him to see her blushing for the very time ever since they met. Their eyes met and her heart picked up pace. Mahek felt strange and very uncomfortable. "Relax Mahek!" She told herself. Shaurya was completely lost in her face and he forgot to blink. "There's dressing on the side of your lips." She signed finally when her heart was normal. He jerked out of his thoughts. "Wipe it." He said softly. "Bilkul bacchey ho tum pata hai?" (You know You are still a kid) With her dupatta,she wiped his lips. He closed his eyes as her dupatta touched his lips. Ajji was on the stairs glaring angrily at them. "I will never let that mute become the daughter in law of my family! Never ever!" She fumed in anger. "Karuna bahu! Is dinner ready!" Karuna came running from her room. "Ji ma...I'll table the food. Chal Mehek help me set the table."
Few minutes later,dinner was served and khanna family sat down to eat. "Yeh ladki! Come sit with me!" Ajji said to Mehek who was about to sit with Shaurya. Mahek nodded and was leaving when Shaurya grabbed her hand. "Ajji,she will sit here right beside me!" Everyone looked at him with raised brows. "Right on bhai!" Simmi quietly gave him a thumps up. Before Ajji could say anything else,he told Mahek to serve everyone. "No need! Karuna bahu you serve everyone!" Ordered Ajji. "It's ok Shaurya." Signing,Mahek sat down beside him. "Ajji has some serious problems with Mahek it seems." Vicky whispered in Shaurya's ears. "She has tortured my mother enough,I won't let her torture any other woman in this house." Said Shaurya. Mahek looked very confused as to what was happening. "Mom,can Mahek serve me?" Shaurya Asked Karuna. "Of course beta! Mahek,serve your friend." Ajji glared at Mahek and she swallowed. "Miss sharma,I'm waiting!" Shaurya snapped his fingers in front of her eyes. Mahek nodded and served him. All through the meal,Mahek looked frightened. Shaurya squeezed her hands. "I'm with you cupcakes,I'll watch over you as long as you are in this house..so relax! Here have this..." He took a piece of roti dipped in curry and fed her. Mahek relaxed and ate from his hands. Everyone around there knew that Shaurya was in love with Mahek except Mahek herself. "Bahu,this matar paneer is so good! Finally you can cook like me." Said Ajji. "Ma you should give credit to Mahek,she's the one that made it." Old woman choked on her food. Harish gave her water to drink. Ajji never praised Mahek for the food she prepared but the others did. "Miss sharma,now that we all are in love with your food,you have to come and cook for us everyday." Said Shaurya. "I can't ..I have other things to do." Mahek signed. "In that case,I will come and eat at your place. How's that sound?" Mahek smiled. "Sounds great!" She signed. "Count me in!" Said Harish. "Don't forget me!" Said Karuna. "I'm here too!" Howled vicky. "I'll be the very first one to come there with bhai!" Added Simmi. Maheks smiled broadened. "I love you guys!" She signed. "We love you too!" The khannas screamed except Ajji. "Bhai,we didn't hear you saying anything." Vicky taunted him. "Come on bhai say it!" Urged Simmi. "I ..I ..I'm done..I'll go wash my hands!" He escaped to the kitchen. Maheks countenance fell. "He doesn't love his best friend! How mean!" She said in her heart. "Mehek beta,I'm waiting for your special kheer!" Said Harish while getting up. "I'll bring it in the living room." She signed and helped Awara clear the table. Everyone headed for the living room for chit chatting.
Later,Simmi helped Mahek serve the kheer (rice pudding) Shaurya noticed Maheks sullen pout. He knew she wasn't happy. He went behind her to talk when Ajji called him. "Ji Ajji." "Have a seat,I need to talk to you and your parents." Shaurya sat down on the sofa. Mahek served everyone except him. "Where's mine?" He asked. "All finished." Simmi answered for her. "What the hell!" He looked at Mahek who left towards the kitchen and never returned. "I have seen a girl for you,they are coming to meet all of us tomorrow,so be ready all of you." Ajji said. Everyone's eyes widened and jaw dropped open. Shaurya's palm balled into two hard fists. He rose with a frown. "For the last time Ajji! I'm not ready for marriage! And I have told you before,I will Marry the girl of my choice! So please for goodness sakes stop this marriage drama!" Eyes blazing fire,he stormed out of there.
Shaurya had arranged a movie and popcorn in his room. Vicky and Simmi walked in with pillows and bowls of buttered popcorn. Shaurya looked past them but the one he was looking for wasn't there. "Guys,Where's Mahek?" "Oh she slept." Simmi said while crawling on his bed. "Slept? But it's only 8...is she ok?" He asked worriedly. "I don't know bhai,go see yourself." Shaurya ruffled his hair in frustration. Vicky played the DVD and turned the lights off. "You Guys carry on I'll be back." Saying that he left towards the visitors room. "Don't come back without my bhabi!" Screamed Simmi.
Shaurya tapped on the door,when Mahek didn't open he turned the knob and entered the room. He quietly closed the door behind him and searched the room as she wasn't on the bed. "Mahek! Are you there?" He knocked on the washroom door. No answer came. He noticed the sliding glass door which led to the balcony was half open. Sliding the drapes,he stepped out in the balcony. He found her hugging herself and looking at the moon. "Cupcakes..." when she turned,she had tears in her eyes. "Hey what's wrong?" Shaurya reached for her but she pushed his hands away! "Mahek Kya huwa...can you tell me something?" "Can you drop me home please!" She signed. "But why?" He asked worriedly. "Because my best friend who stands by me whenever I need him,who does every little and big thing for me just to see a smile on my face,who goes out of his way to do things for my happiness,doesn't love me!" Tears rolled down her cheeks. "Mahek I do..." He reached for her cheeks to wipe the tears away but she pushed his hands away once again . "Accha you do? Then why didn't you say it with the rest of the family?" She signed. "How will I tell you that my love for you is different from theirs? And I can't just say it like that ..I want my confessions to be one of its kind, different and special." He said in his heart. When he didn't revert,she started to leave. He grabbed her arm and made her stand in front of him. "You know you are such a stubborn girl! But very sweet!" He dried her tears with the back of his hand and kissed her forehead. Her face lit up at once. He palmed her cheeks. "I love you cupcakes! I love you very much!" A beautiful smile appeared on her lips. "Like a friend right?" "Like a friend." He answered softly. "I love you too!" She signed with a heart and squirmed in joy. He pulled her cheeks and she did the same. Before he knew it,she threw herself in his arms and hugged him tight. His arms came around her,enveloping her in his warmth. They stood like that few minutes and watched the moon and the stars. "Come with me." She broke the hug and took his hand. "Where are you taking me? Don't tell me you want the guavas again!" "It's nothing like that,just quietly come with me." She signed. They tiptoed to the kitchen. "Sit on the countertop." He obeyed without a word. She opened the refrigerator and took out a little bowl. "What's that?" He whispered. She removed the lid and showed it to him. "Kheer? You saved it for me?" He asked excitedly. She nodded her head. "How can I eat without you?" "Matlab you didn't eat either?" He asked. She nodded in no. "Good then we'll eat together." He grabbed a spoon. "Who's there in the middle of the night?" Ajjis unpleasant voice reached their ears. "Oh shit! Get down!" Both sat on the floor. Ajji couldn't see anyone in the kitchen so she left. Both laughed without a sound. Mahek fed him and vice versa. He talked and she listened. From the kitchen floor they moved to the living room and relaxed on the sofa. Soon they dozed off.
