She held Nivi on her hips, like Janaki Athai, her long braid dancing as she animatedly described someone's jerwelry to Vandu

"I told him I cannot force Manya to be like me. She is insecure of you Ishita. She didnt invite you
for her dress fitting. Chhodo. Aur koi baat nahi hai. You live in that house, you dont need her endorsement" Sam was troubled
"I dont think your brother is upset because of me" II was hurt

Makarand's cousin came toward II

"I am not going to sing a Carnatic song here" II laughed

"He is crazy. I am already singing for Pongal in January"

"Excuse me?" R&B walked up, no baby
"Umm.. sure.. hi! I am Sadanand, I am Makarand's cousin on the Dad's side. I work for a startup in Blore" he said

"Ur wife refuses to sing" he pointed

"I am not singing Carnatic I said" II said primly
"That means u will sing Hindi?" he screeched
"No... no... they have a singer and DJ and all" II shook her head vigorously pointing to the audio corner
"I am going to go request them to make you sing" the guy took off
"Huh" grunted R&B not liking that at all
Ii turned to him not amused by the grunt, but quickly changed her expression
"I better think of a song" she said sweetly with a faraway gaze.
"Are u trying to prove a point?" he asked not amused
"I think I just did" she said smugly walking toward Manya and Makarand
