Prologue

Devastated, he held on to his knees, his head down. The sham was finally broken. The truth finally found its appearance.

The truth of his birth.

The truth of the illegitimate child of Oberoi family.

The truth of the whole fiasco managed by Anika, the woman he loved and who loved him equally back, probably a little more than him.

Sacrificing him for him, she had stepped out of his life, only to protect him from something that could just snatch his belief on himself.

"Shivaay." She whispered, trying to take off his hands that were covering his face by then. He could not meet her eyes. Everything just played like a movie before his eyes, every thing he had said to her that night, everything he did to her. The guilt was just too much to take.
