1. Yes the pace is a bit slow, I would hope it puicks up a bit as the show will need to keep up our interest . It seems the adverts are far too long and each day we have about 2-3 scenes and then episode ends
2. Characterisation is a bit patchy & illogical - in fact glaringly so. Nothing to do with the acting, just the script & story.
- eg I cannot believe that a girl from Delhi could think its safe to wander around any city, town or village alone at midnight. The CVs need to make this plausible at the moment it is interfering with my appreciation. This is no comment on Avika - she's doing a good job as far as the role has been drawn. I can feel her pain for her sister and for the unknown girl who was humiliated but it just does not make sense - any normal girl nowadays will know it is unsafe to roam alone at midnight. No matter how idealistic she may be, she has seen the tragic end of her sister and the other events, how can the character not have any common sense - or is it just to feed the public a few romantic lollipop scenes? then Y tells her this is not yr Delhi its Veerpurr...as if Delhi is safe
- How is it possible that Yuvraj who is such a sensible mature sort of person has no clue what is going on around him? In all these years does he not know the nature of these people? Seems implausible.
Also if his family is ruling Veerpur they would be expected to able to curb any lawlessness of this sort. If they do not, it implies they are either part of it or much weaker than they pretend.
3. Compared to the original NAIDL the story is a bit thin. There is one topic (Jhanvi) and not yet enough variations around the theme or depth. The focus is a bit more on drama than substance.
Maybe its because they are stretching the story too much at this time with long ad breaks and short scenes.
