After the initial shock and disappointment after last night when I watch the Promo again this morning, I am trying to rationally think about the actions and reactions in it.

Neil is taunting Avni about her instinctive nature (fitrat nahi badalti), the similar thing that he said during Ali kidnapping when pen drive was hidden and he taunted Avni about stealing. That was below the belt blow and same is the case here. Then, he said even his love didn't change her so he is breaking his marriage with her. All throughout Avni had only one reaction that was of shock. She was numb when she looked at Neil.

My guess is we are going back to square one. It all started with Avni's fight for justice as she was victimize not only by her closed ones but also by the biased, corrupt legal system. Here as well she is accused of something which she has not done and is again trapped in by legal system. Sadly for her, it has always been the person whom she is very closed to has accused her, then, it was her dad Ashish Mehta and now it's her husband, ACP Neil Khanna.

We got from the Promo, that Neil is angry with Avni and breaking the marriage but what about Avni? what will be her reaction?She trusted, loved a man with all her heart and soul, after her dad's fiasco and that man is breaking her again. Won't she feel betrayed? Will she ever be able to trust, love again? I guess Ananya Verma is here to stay and this time it would be herculean task for Neil Khanna to bring back his Avni Khanna or even Avni Ayesha.

My only issue with this track is after so much of promises, understanding, undying declaration of love this misunderstanding is indigestible.

If worked in proper direction, I guess this will be interesting to watch but I have no hopes left from the CV's cause they thrive on only negativity.

The promo is highly dramatized and has the necessary shock value. Cant stop watching it just like the Masquerade promo! That promo was our intro into their relationship. This promo is the high point of their relationship. Their love that reached the peak of understanding, the epitome has faced it's biggest test.

Neil warned Avni when she pushed Juhi. "If something happened to her, I would have HAD to arrest you!" That was a foreshadowing of the future. At the time we didnt actually realise it. But this was already in motion and being set up. Neil was livid and Avni was adament. Neil's anger was for Avni not controlling her emotions. Allowing herself to become Ananya again. A person she had left behind and so had he. But now she has come back. Not just to fool someone (Vidyut Goa track), but that old Ananya with her focus, her anger, her mission was back. She saw Juhi mistreat Mishti and that old Ananya that used to lose her cool was back. The same one that pointed a gun at Daya, pointed a Gun to her head, and asked Aman to shoot her. The same one who lifted a knife and was ready to stab Dayawanti. Neil's mission (assigned by Neela) was to get that Ananya to go away and Avni to reappear. Neil even succeeded in it.

But this promo is showing that he feels his love was not enough to beat Ananya. She is there and given the right circumstances she will be back. I am willing to see what they do with this, as long as NEIL is not tampered with. He needs to stay the man we all fell in love with. Yes he's not perfect, but he's not a typical TV hero and that is his USP. The women who love Neil love him for ALL the right reasons as opposed to those who love Jerk ML's for all the wrong reasons. I dont want to spend my time "defending" Neil for his actions like a lot of people spend hours of their time defending the indefensible actions of useless men who some CV's call a Hero! But Neil IS a real Hero and I never want that to change!
