A very big thank you to the entire creative team for giving us the Goenka Family, Dadi, Manish, Suvarna, Akhilesh, Surekha, Karthik, Naira, Aryaan
Each of their characters have been shown making mistakes, but have also been shown to be good hearted. They are normal humans who have erred but that doesn't make them evil, their heart was always at the right place.
Dadi and Manish always did damad puja of Aditya which was totally wrong for us, but got to see they weren't 100% wrong, we knew that Aditya was a creep, they didn't, they were only trying to have their damad always pleased so that their daughter stays happy. Though yes Manish was wrong when at Kaira's wedding he noticed creep's mood was off but didn't take notice of Kirti's hurt. Dadi even after seeing the truth sent Kirti to meet Aditya after he talked her into it but then again, Dadi is someone who lost a spouse as well she knows how it is to live that lonely life and she knows how the world looks and that bought in some fears which caused her to take a wrong move. At times we want to do good but end up damaging.
Akhilesh, he has mainly been shown trying to listen to what both sides have to say and then speak, but also there has been a scene of his and Karthik, where Karthik asked him to handle a project but he denied and something was mentioned about some past failure. That is something I find connectable too as often failures have us fearing, we get scared to take the next step on the ladder of success.
Surekha she always seems to be doing the agg mein ghee dalne wala kaam and lot of instances I really get annoyed with her, but also many scene show that she is a good person like once before when she was mean to Suvarna and realized what she said, she immediately ran to her and apologized and was really guilty. Even today she realized that Suvarna had been crying.
Karthik and Naira, I don't know how many times I have mentioned about the mistakes they have made, the reasons of their behavior. Whether it be Naira's anger on his mother or Karthik's anger on his parents. Naira accusing Karthik for Akshara's accident or Karthik blaming Naira for loving Naksh more then Kirti. We all know and have had discussed their situations, of a young teenager who thought her mother wanted to send her to jail, a young child who first lost his mother and then his father got married to a woman who he hated as he believed that their affair caused his mother death, a girl who had just lost her mother, a brother who had already seen his sister go through a painful marriage.
Even Suvarna belongs perfectly to this family, her heart was at the right place when she thought about giving away her child. She didn't do it for herself, she did it for Manish Karthik Kirti. Of course what she did wasn't entirely right because caring for two of her children, she caused a lot of pain to the other one, but she did the best she could, she didn't kill the child in her womb, she let him see the world's light, she didn't leave him on the streets, she gave him to her brother. By the scene where those papers about Suvarna sending money to her home city came into Karthik's hand, we may assume that she was even sending money too him. Yes I agree that she kept him from the luxurious life he deserved being a Goenka.
Aryan was wrong when he tried to cause Karthik's accident and that he admitted himself, but he was also wrong to scheme against Karthik and send him to jail. He very well knew that Karthik had no idea but targeted him. But deep inside he knew he was wrong, that conscience of his speaking to him, him looking guilty seeing Naira breaking down as Karthik got arrested, but then his own hurt took over which is understandable as he hasn't formed a deep bond with the Goenka yet so he isn't going to feel for them above himself.
