What is the significance of the kundali?

As we all know, Indian TV places way too much importance on superstition, kundali etc. And yesterday, the astrologer said it will be an extremely difficult marriage and Ahaana will have to make she protects it and doesn't let any third party come in between. This honestly made it sound like a sanskari bharatiya nari Indian soap lead facing all the obstacles and saving her marriage despite everything. Please tell me I am wrong and they are not planning to make Rehaan into an obsessive lover while Ahaan tries her best to save her marriage despite everything. Can they please stick to the original story? Pretty please?

I got similar vibes too. But then I also feel that, more than anything else , not wanting to become like her mother is what is going to make Ahana fight her feelings for Rehaan and do everything possible to save her marriage. I don't know how things unfolded in the original one, but the fact that Ahana keeps repeating that she never wants to become like her mother is the cue that she may after all become like her mother.

don't want her to turn her into a typical sacrficing bahu! I really wanna see how she handles her dilemma about her feelings towards Rehaan!
