"Akash, please sarre ministers ko inform kardo ke aaj jo meeting adhuri rahe gayi woh aaj purri hogi", Karthik told his PA, who gave him a positive nod and went ahead to complete the task

"Karthik are you sure about it", asked Akhilesh

"Do you trust me", asked Karthik

"Of course beta", replied Akhilesh

"We all trust you", assured Manish

"Then can I handle this my way", asked

"Yeh bhi koyi phuch ne ki baath hai. Jo tumhara dil karta hai woh karo. Mera Rajkumar kabhi bhi apne logon ka burra nahi karega yeh mera vishwas hai.", said dadi and everyone agreed.

"Aur agar choti si galtiyan ho bhi jaye. Hum sab hai, unn galtiyon ko sudharne ke liye", said Surekha.

"Haan beta, galti karne se kabhi mat darna. Galti karne se toh insan sikhta hai. Haan yeh koshish karo ke tum galtiyan dhurao nahi.", explained Suvarna.

"Bhai sa, why don't we have Naira at the meeting as well hum sarre ministers se uss ki mulaqat karwadenge.", suggested Akhilesh

"Yeh sahi socha tum ne. Lekin ek baar Naira se puch lo woh comfortable hai", said dadi.

"Mein Naira ko call karti hun", said Suvarna.

"Suvarna message karke puch lo. Iss waqt shayad dinner kar rahe honge", said Manish

"Maa ji mein soch rahi thi ek party bhi organize karte hai. Naira ko sabse milwa skte hai uss mein", Surekha said excitedly and dadi nodded positively

"We will talk to the Singhanias about it and choose a date which is preferable to both families.

"Naira di kiska message hai", asked Mishti

"Yeh koyi phuchne wali baath hai Mishtu. Jijaji ka hi hoga", said Gayu

"Dekhte hai kya sweet romantic message behja hai mere jijaji ne", said Kirti and picked Naira's phone.

"Bolo bhabhi kya likha hai", asked Mishti and Gayu.

"Message Karthik ka nahi, Suvarna aunty ka hai", said Kirti.

"Badi maa ka, bhabhi mujhe phone dijiye mein check karti hun", spoke Naira and Kirti handed over the phone.

"Kya hua princess", asked Naitik.

Naira tells about the meeting and the Rajputs wanting Naira to attend it as well, if Naira was okay.

"Mumma mein kya karu", asked Naira

"Beta tum se pucha gaya hai ke tum jana jhati ho nahi. Jawab bhi tumhara hi hona chaiye. Tum decide karo aur unhe bata do", answered Akshara.

"Mein badi maa ko message kar dungi ke mein jaungi. Thodi nervousness hai. Magar ek na ek din toh karna hai. Toh kal kyun nahi", announced Naira and everyone smiled at her decision.

Next day

"Hello bff. Sorry hello jiju.", said Mishti as Karthik entered

"Mein apka bff hoon aur sab se phele apka bff hi rahunga", he said while kneeling down to match her height

"Toh kya mein apke liye Naira di se phele hun", she asked with a cute smirk.

"Bilkul aap ki wajhe se mujhe meri Naira milli. My relation with you is the most special. You will always be number one for me", Karthik answered

"Is that so. Toh matlab am second on your list.", asked Naira entering into the hall.

"Not at all. Tum toh dadi, badi dadi, choti dadi, nanu, nani, badi maa, choti maa, mumma, bade papa, chote papa, papa, chachi, mamu, mami, Kuhu, Nannu, Mansi, Luv Kush, sab ke baad aati ho", Karthik answered naughtily.

"So am the last on your list", Naira asked angrily with a pout.

"Haan", Karthik agreed joking and laughed at her cute expressions and then pulled her in a hug.

"Ahem Ahem", Naitik cleared his throat and Kaira parted slightly blushing.

"Woh meeting ke liye jana hai. Mein Naira ko le jaun", Karthik seeked permission and left.

At the meeting

"Hum app logo ko kissi se milwana chate hai. Yeh Naira hai. Karthik ki hone wali patni.", said Manish introducing Naira

"Mahraj mere sawal ka burra mat maniye magar main ne inhe kabhi dekha nahi. Kaha ki Rajkumari hai yeh.", asked one of the ministers

"Mein kahi ki bhi Rajkumari nahi hun", Naira answered boldly.

"Toh Yuvraaj kya ek maumuli ladki se shaadi karenge.", asked another

"Aap se yeh kiss ne kaha ke meri Naira maumali hai, woh bahut khass hai.", Karthik answered the person boldly.

"Aur aap, Naira kaha ki Rajkumari hai, ha bhi ya nahi isse apko koyi farak nahi padna chaiye. Woh apki hone wali, Rani hai, yeh yaad rakhiye", Karthik told the other minister in a stern tone.

"Let's start the meeting.", Manish ordered and everyone took their seats.

"Waise aaj meeting purri toh hogi ya phir kal ki tarhe aduri rahe jayegi", asked one

"Ya toh aap sab par nirbhar karta hai", spoke Karthik

"Hum par, aap hi toh kal beech mein chod kar chale gaye", asked the man confused.

"Koyi kaam ho hi nahi ho raha tha toh mein yaha reh kar bhi kya karta. Hum yahan humari paraja ki samasiyaon ke barien mein baath karne ke liye na ki aap sab ko khudi ki prashensa karte huye sunne ke liye.", Karthik answered firmly.

"Bade papa aap logo se kuch nahi kehte. Mein yeh sab sahan nahi karunga. Sarra kaam seriously hoga. Now let's start", Karthik ordered.

The meeting went well, with actual work getting done. Manish, Akhilesh, Karthik and Naira, giving suggestions to solve problems.

In the car

"You were great", Karthik said as the sat inside.

"You were even better", Naira replied

"Being with you brings out the best in me", Karthik answered with a smile.

The story so far is going amazing. A different concept with this same lovely jodi and something new to explore. I am enjoying reading it.

I like how his family is so down to earth including Dadi. In fact they are very supportive and a loving family. As usual Kartik is always there by her side. Kaira's unconditional love is the best part of this story of course.

I loved how you made Naira join them in the meeting. Kartik's support for Naira and making sure they give her the same respect. Everything is so good.

Keep those updates going. Doing great :)

"Namaste", Surekha and Suvarna greeted entering Singhania Sadan.

"Radhe Krishna", Bhabhi ma, Akshara and devyani who were in the main whole greeted back.

"We are so sorry to come without notice", apologized Suvarna.

"Please don't apologize, we are more then happy to have you as our guests, please take a seat", offered Devyani.

"What brings you both here", asked Akshara

"Where is Naira, I think it would be better if she was here as well", said Surekha

"Woh apne academy ke kaam se bahar gayi huyi hai", answered Devyani

"Lo agayi", said bahbhi ma as Naira walked in.

Naira hugged both Suvarna Surekha and took their blessings as she entered.

"Actually we wanted to organise a party to introduce Naira to everyone, as Karthik's would be wife and their would be queen. That is if Naira and you all don't have a problem", said Suvarna

"I don't have any problem at all ", replied Naira

"Neither do we", the family agreed.

"That's great, then why don't you tell us which date will be best for you all, so that we can organize the party then", asked Suvarna

"Any day you all feel okay will be fine for us", answered Devyani.

"Naira beta, why don't you say something, when do you want to have it, after all this is to introduce you to everyone.", said Surekha

"Papa is busy with a project right now, the final meeting is next Tuesday if we could have it after that.", asked Naira

"Then why don't we have it on the Saturday after that", asked Surekha.

"I guess that is fine, do you all have any problem", asked Suvarna

"Not at all", replied Akshara.

"What should I wear, Gayu di", Naira asked her sister as she threw all the clothes from the cupboard on the bed.

"Naira, what are you doing", asked Akshara entering

"Mami, Naira is finding what to wear", Gayu replied

"What, beta the party is tonight. I told you to go shopping", said Akshara

"She would have, if she would have taken time out from her princess lessons and romantic moments with her Prince", teased Kirti

"Ab batiye, mein Kya karu, I have nothing nice", said Naira

"Should, I tell you (pause) wear this", said Mishti giving Naira a packet.

"What is this", asked Naira

"I don't know, someone came and have this packet, saying that bff gave this for you and asked you to wear this for tonight", said Mishti.

They other's teased Naira even more listening to this.

Phone convo

"Karthik what was the need of this", asked Naira

"Why didn't you like my choice", Karthik asked her

"I haven't opened the package yet", she answered

"Open it and tell me how you like it.", Karthik told her and she unwrapped the box

"Wow, Karthik this is the same lehenga I had seen at Switzerland in that Indian shop", she said

"Yes, Jaan it is the same one", Karthik agreed

"But how did you get to know that I liked it, I mean we hadn't gone to that shop I had just seen it through the window", she asked

"I noticed your eyes, I realized you liked it when I saw you seeing the dress", said Karthik

"Tum kya purra waqt mujhe ghurte rehte the", questioned Naira

"Mein tumhare dil ki har baath janta hun who bhi tum se phele," said Karthik

"Phir yeh kyun nahi samaj paye ke mein tumse pyaar karti hun, kyun mujhe chod kar janne ki sochta rahe the", asked Naira

"Tho kya karata, main ne tumhari ankhon mein khud ke liye pyaar dekha tha, Lekin jab tum ne khud inland kar diya toh mein kya karat, jab tum baar baar move on karne ke liye force kar rahi thi toh Mein kya samajh tha. Tumhe toh sirf apni behn ki feelings ki parwah thi ek baar mere barien mein socha, itni assani se yeh keh diya, mein tumse dur janne ki soch raha tha, kabhi yeh sochta ke yeh faisla lene par tum ne hi majbor kiya",Karthik tells her and disconnects the call.

"Naira, what was the need of talking about the past. hogaya Karthik naraz ab purri party mein uska mun phula hua rahe ha.", she told herself

Dadi had sent Karthik to pick Naira up as she thought that they both should come to the party together.

By the time Karthik came to pick Naira, the other Singhanias had already left, since the Rajputs asked them to come early to make sure that they were okay with all the arrangements.

Karthik messaged Naira to come down but she didn't. He tried calling her but she didn't pick up. So he himself went inside.

The house was in complete darkness when Karthik pushed opened the door.

"Naira", Karthik called out.

"Naira where are you", Karthik called once again.

After a while Karthik heard a very loud screamed, he panicked and rushed upstairs, he went to Naira's room but she wasn't there.

"Karthik", he heard her scream his name, sensing that the voice came from the terrace he ran up there.

When he entered the terrace he noticed the terrace was beautifully decorated, Naira was standing at the other end of the terrace, she had worn the lehenga Karthik had bought for her and looked absolutely breath taking.

Karthik notice a big heart made of red rose petals on the floor and inside the heart "sorry", was written with white petals.

"I am sorry", Naira said making a cute face.

"Karthik am sorry I am very sorry. Gayu di ke saath mujhe tumhari feelings ka bhi khayal arkham chaiye, main ne di, drama dadi, bua dadi ke barien mein sochta, tumhare barien main Nahi, am sorry. And aaj phir se tumhe woh sari taqleef yaad dilayi", she said

"Mera ghussa tumhe dekthe hi gayab ho gaya, lekin Naira mujhe promise karo you will never talk about that time, even thinking that at a point of time there had been a possibility that we would be separated to is too hard to bear.", he said

"I promise I will never talk about it", Naira assured

"I love you so much", he said pulling her into a bone crushing hug.

"I love you too", she smiled

"Karthik palace mein sab inteezar kar rahe honge I guess we should go", Naira said

"Aisi parties bahut boring hoti hai, why don't we skip it. aur yehi ek dusre ke saath waqt guzarte hai", asked Karthik

"Karthik, party humare liye hai, agar hum nahi gaye, sab kya sochenge", asked Naira

"Tumhe loggon ke soch se kab se farq padne lagga", questioned Karthik.

"Jab se yeh janna ke tum kaun hai, Naira Singhania ko koyi farq nahi padta, Lekin tumhari hone wali patni ki hasiyat se, rajasthan ki honne walk rani ki hasiyat se farq padta hai, ke koyi mere barien mein kya sochega", Naira answered

"Naira are you okay with all this. Are you ready for it.", asked Karthik cupping her face and wiping her tears.

"Karthik, party shuru ho chuki hai, everyone is waiting for us, everyone is waiting for their king and queen. We should leave Karthik", replied Naira

"Naira, am asking are you ready for this", he asked again

"Am scared, Karthik", she said breaking down in tears.

"I myself agreed for today's function, and I was ready all this while but now when it is time to leave, I don't know, all the people at the palace are waiting to see their future king and queen. They have known you as their to be king, since your birth, but will they be able to see their queen in me", she expressed her fears.

"Naira tum sach keh rahi ho, they know me to be their heir, and my whole life I have struggled that they don't see me as someone higher then them. That is why I became Karthik Singh from Karthik Singh Rajputs, so that I would fit in, You know why I had asked this one year, because I wanted to be between the people as a commoner and myself experience their problems. Don't try to be their queen, be one of them and they will love you and trust you with all their hearts", Karthik answered

"I promise, I will not let our people down, they will always see a friend and a well wisher in me and not someone who is waiting to rule over them.", Naira said, feeling a bit better after Karthik motivating her.

Though it took some time. It happened like Karthik said. The people saw someone who understood their difficulties in Naira and Karthik, they truly loved and adored them, with all their heart. And everyone lived happily ever after like every fairy tale.

I am sorry for ending the story like this, but I have kind of lost interest in the story, so I thought of cutting it short.

Short Epilogue. I had actually written this on wattpad really long back but forgot to post it here

Kaira were married, and had taken over the kingdom officially. All the people weren't in their favour yet, but the Rajput family had full trust on Kaira to win hearts over time. Couple of months passed with Naira learning the way of royalty, people showing more acceptance to their new king and queen, even Naira's dance classes and Rajputs businesses were running perfectly.

Then a storm came in their lives. Dadi, Manish, Suvarna, Akhilesh, Surekha and Mansi were all on the royal private jet, when the plane crashed killing all of them and the pilot on board, leading to Karthik loose his whole family except for his little cousin brother's and wife. It was a big blow to Naira as well who loved her husband's family like her own.

Not just personally but elsewhere things started falling apart to, people had began excepting Kaira as their new rulers only because their previous king and queen were still there guiding the young ones, but know the people felt there would be no one to teach the new rulers anything and they began to oppose, they began to distrust their young leaders.

Life was falling apart for Kaira, family was lost, they couldn't even mourn as they had they now had to be a parental figure to the young Luv Kush. They were lossing the support of their people, making them feel that they couldn't fulfil the responsibility the Rajputs family had entrusted on their shoulders. Another shock came as the found proofs indicating that the private jet had been medelled with and the plane crash was no accident. Kaira are then not able to trust anyone.

It took two years to finally gain justice for their family and another three more years to win over their people. It would have been worst but they had one another to lean on for support during this hard time.

As the say if happiness doesn't last forever, same goes for the bad times. Kaira's happiness even grew more as they got to know that they would soon be parents and 9 months later a little baby girl was born.

The people of Rajasthan were already so in love with this little angel as soon as she was born, right from her birth they had accepted her as their future queen. The girl was even more special since after almost seven generations the crown would be passed over to the girl because for the past seven generations the first child had always been a boy.

Now it was 10 years that Kaira had been married, their bundle of joy, who they had named Kaira was now five years. She was the perfect mixture of both her parents, both by looks and nature. Another little one was soon going to enter their lives, nothing could be better. Kaira made sure to cherish every moment of their life, live the happy moments to the fullest, learn lessons from bad times and when problems break you, look towards the side and find your life parnter and know that someone is there with you during this rough patch.
