Indian tv show years never add up the way the audience knows them to add up. I do think it is related. Or at least hope anika gauri belong to a well off household. I think the drama quotient would be increased id they lost everything due to oberois.

AniRi probably won't be linked directly to the KM incident but due to that incident somehow their family got indirectly affected, like different companies, banks, retailers and even small businesses are inter-related, with such a major incident many other familes may be din't get burned down to the flames but suffered great loss in the future of the past. The truth might be revealed as they dig a bit deep which takes some time and yes, RiKara's bond too will grow by then. It'll be both wife and bro separation for Shivaay as Om would support AniRi over his family. Wow, interesting.

well since we are all talking about suppositions and probable scenarios how about I try to give some logic to otherwise illogical tellyworld? Could be Ani Ri were toddlers, when Kalyani Mills happened, were shuttled across and finally came to the orphanage at a later stage when they were separated? That's just if they really want to be logical.
