EDT~ ep 20, 17 11.17, My stance~ Missing links..
Life is a string of an orderly sequence, which lends it sensibility. It appears incomplete if sections are missing. Thus a story too will appear disjointed and senseless if sections are missing or omitted. Today's episode brings up situations where the audience feels not enough is revealed to ascertain about scenarios and characters. Hence both in the characters and viewers alike there is a drive to learn more about the missing links that are needed to reveal the complete picture.
Medically some sequence is back in Sharanya's life. She seems to ease into her present, but not without having a sense of strange unexplained occurrences around her. What with the sudden cold shivers and familiar recurring fragrance of lilies.. Shiv walks up to her on the road side, silently recites.. theirs is "a saga drenched in love.. unfinished , still carries on.. he tries to touch her..
Plagued by nightmares! screams of Vyom's name,to her horror is one thing clear for Sharanya , Vyom's mishaps are related to her! The need arises in her to contact the spirit medium Odhni , to find out more about, this shadow, the danger she is in! Odhni's crucial scrawl on a scrunched up piece of paper, has the power to iron out the foggy areas of her mind!
Missing links in the Bedi household, something that is covered up by Rajan's sudden temper tantrum before the whole family. Rajan feels he needs to put up a power display to tell his joint family exactly who is in charge! Chandni and her son's malicious comments about Vyom surviving! gives Rajan the reason to fall on Chandni's head like a ton of bricks! All manner of insults are hurled at her, even threats, that he will kill her if any harm comes to Vyom or Sharanya! He mocks her, its his sheer luck that brings back his son after a nasty accident! Chandni replies bitterly that yes it 's her bad luck that she opposes Rajan rather than support him! she even says that he is her very destiny!!!!this is some missing link, some family feud we are unaware off! What can it be? Rajan blanks her off and accuses her of instigating his wife Madhvi against Sharanya!! Chandni calls Madhvi a mostly drunk woman! Rajan even bad mouths Madhvi and puts her down before the family! So basically it's a scene full of below the belt, harsh verbal attacks between Chandni, Madhvi and of course the bellowing Rajan!
It's clear that part of Rajan's fury is against Sharanya being picked upon ,especially when the girl, is destined to be the DIL of the household, is trying to pick up the pieces of her life! Basically he tells Chandni to leave!! Rajan literally bites Vyom's head off as well, when he tells his father, Sharanya is not ready for marriage yet.. Rajan is short with him, he's had two years.. her memory will return and she will recall him! all he wants is Vyom to be there beside Sharanya when she remembers all.. because she'll need support!!! Again what missing link will Sharanya come across?? that shell need Vyom's support? Will she recall something shocking?? Rajan too is desperate for Sharanya to marry and be the daughter in law! does what Sharanya recalls, involve both Vyom and his father??
Parents often give their children conflicting messages... often children bear a certain frustration within themselves , or find themselves in a position where they end up with a forced compromise..Vyom's parents disagree glaringly about Sharanya being the girl for Vyom. Where Rajan picks fights to defend Sharanya. Madhvi blames her for being a bad omen for her son Vyom..
It's great to have a supportive mother.. but not so great to have a father who undermines the wife's decision ! Sharanya shows Odhni s note to her mum.. she pleads she needs to connect certain areas of her past.. so she can live life minus many unanswered questions. That she senses someone's presence near her. Shiv lurks nearby.. waiting to see her via Odhni Her mother gives her consent ,on the pretext that she accompanies Sharanya! But along comes Ram Bhist! and throws the spanner in the works! Takes the piece of paper from Sharanya forbids her for seeing Odhni ,dismisses her practice as superstitious nonsense ! without substance ! tells his wife to stop supporting Sharanya in pursuing the realm of the occult and spiritualism! He throws Odhni s details in the fireplace! That's that! Sharanya bows down to the authoritative directive of the head of the family! She has no choice but to abandon the idea.. maybe her father is right... her quest to seek her the missing links, barely misses the fire! The piece of paper, lies on the built up edge of the fireplace, outside the reach of the burning tongues of fire!
All in bed.. asleep ,nothing stirs.. but Shiv shuffles unseen, about the burning hearth..the piece of paper , is his lifeline! The missing link that can connect them to what they had ,and still have.. his hand dips close to the fire to get to the piece of paper! The frozen palm , gets singed! heat virtually thaws the frosty ice!! he pulls it back.. Nawab the dog spots him and barks! Well a dog's a man's best friend! Shiv spots the huge bowl of water flower decor held high on a pedestal just close enough to the burning fireplace! Shiv's eyes controls Nawab's eye.. the dog comes in.. and senses affection from Shiv,or is it some silent command Shiv gives it??.. almost , hypnotized by Shiv.. Nawab submits, in fear? scampers about! and accidentally collides against the water decor! Which tips into the burning fireplace! Eureka ! the scrap of paper is retrieved!!! Unexplained powers carry the paper in space! The wind dries it ... Shiv's tall frame saunters over to Sharanya's room! Nawab barks unceasingly ! the scrap of paper dry by now! drops on her bed! Nawab's barks wake her up! she feels a chill around her! notices the scrap of paper! Is stunned but it was chucked into the fire! Sharanya senses some one's presence.. who is it ?? but silent and unseen Shiv stands on the other side of her bed... waiting.. all this time he waits..
The dog needed a cuddle.. Sharanya calms it .. and mumbles, surely this time , it 's not her overheated imagination, or the side effects of her drugs..or false thoughts.. this time..its like some one came here to give her this scrap of paper! Wants her to meet Odhni ! Shiv smiles at her from the shadows and his heart recites.."after ages my eyes see you ,yet barely.. but my madness, my passion, and my love too, you have hardly seen.. hamlet53 18.11.17
Well Shiv.. has cleverly executed his scene of putting out the fire..can spirits not move things? But no!! The elusive being! gets Nawab to do his chore! I suspect he wants it to look like some mischief done by young Nawab! The dei-iced palm was interesting to watch.. the fingers for a split second, look like wafer thin ice.. well as expected we get to see Shiv.. what his reality is? spirit or human? is still woolly for me.. yes without a doubt one actor who stole the show Amar as Rajan.. Chandni gives the impression something was going on between her and Rajan? Monday looks interesting.. Sharanya goes searching for the gaps in her past.. and she sees Shiv.. one hand intervenes and interrupts the session. Who can that intruder be??
