Okay can I just say something?
IB is officially unpredictable. in the past 12 hours we have got the sizzling hot teaser that made us lose every bit of sanity of our mind, followed by an episode today that just touched the sky in terms of Shivika's relationship, compatibility, understanding and respect they have for each other. I mean, what is this mission they are on to, can anyone please tell me?
I would have probably NEVER realized to what degree Shivay has managed understand Anika , if I hadn't watched today's episode. I wouldn't have known he had managed to crawl into her skin slowly and quietly in this less than one year journey until he was able to read her every insecurity and agony like an open book.
"When she used to take a step forward, her self respect and dignity would stop her while I would always back off due to my pride and priority in name, blood and lineage"
"When I did understand what she means to me, destiny parted our ways and when I got her back, I realized Anika has always been alone, fought for her right on her own, stood up on her own feet without anyone's help. She fought all her life by herself..."
That pain for her sufferings, yet that pride that reflected in his eyes for the independent woman she is and for the fact that this lady belongs to him and only him...I swear to god I felt a tug in my stomach
"And I decided, before becoming her husband, I'll be her friend first..."
"I didn't want to win Anika...I wanted to win that heart she possesses"
Gawd!!! Please tell me they are not real, cause I don't see any bloody way this guy could be so flawless in depicting his emotions. How did he become so articulate and expressive from a man of few words who used to suppress every kind of sentiment within himself unless it was his brothers in question? How did he become so open? How did he start having so much emotions piled up within himself for this woman that he literally poured out in those few minutes today?
"I don't get why fingers are always pointed at women in such issues..."
"No, there's no 'kami' in my Anika. She's perfect!"
" Marriage is not always about physical relationship or intimacy...
Indeed it is not!! You can spend your entire life without even having the physical intimacy if you have an understanding better half who can just read your unspoken torment with that one look at your face, who puts you on the top in his priority list and goes out of his way to make you smile and turn the world upside down if he sees a single tear in your eyes - THAT is Shivay... or rather, ANIKA'S Shivay! LITERALLY! I can't believe GulNeet handled such a crucial and sensitive social norm so delicately within a matter of 7 minutes of conversation by merging it to Shivay's character and setting him as an example of how ANY husband in such situation should behave and take a stand for his wife.
It seemed slightly random to me yesterday when the pregnancy issue was introduced. I didn't find any heads or tail to the track. But why do we always make the same mistake of doubting the CVs? Such a smooth blend of this very common social issue that even the most educated people raises, to the powerful bond Shivika shares which nothing but strengthened their relationship today. GulNeet always had and will always have a way to introduce and pull off the tracks.
"So you do feel secure with me?"
"Bilkul..."
She didn't even take a moment to answer that question. Might not seem like a great deal to many to you but I have always seen an Anika who would shy away from confessing such sensitive factors about herself, mostly because she didn't want to make herself feel vulnerable. From that phase the stage she is in today, her steady way to open up to her husband has been so SO beautiful, I don't think I can find proper words to express how beautifully both Shivay's and Anika's characters evolved...I just can't!!!
A 20 minutes episode and we have seen them raising a social issue, witnessed a protective and possessive husband who by far had the most ideal way of taking a stand for his wife, followed by some teasing and adorable romance and stomach-hurting comedy
Hands down, one of the BEST episodes till date!
P.S. Had a two hours break and the first thing I did was to run into the washroom and watch that 'laal ishq' teaser for the zillionth and followed by today's episode. And dare I say, I do NOT regret not utilizing my time into studying...sorry but yeah I don't!!!😎
P.P.S. Now that I'm done pouring my heart out, I'll be more focused on my studies. Back to work, bye guys!!🤗
Love,
