Beautiful post and very nicely put in words (as usual). I agree to all of it. Indeed, the way Shivaay explained his, her and their journey (related to their intimacy) was beautifully said by him. Both had their own issues which refrained them to take that step. Phir, the separation and then once they finally got together, he made her his priority. Matlab to take care of her in order to let her forget all the sadness that uses be in her life.

Two things I loved the most:
1) he wanted to become her friend first. Shows that getting intimate with her was not his priority. It was first about understanding each other and to reach a certain comfort level.

2) he asked her if she feels secure with him. Most important thing! For Anika it was an obvious answer because little did she knew he was asking it in regard of something else. Her affirmation to his question brought him to cloud nine.
This one question is very important for a husband to ask and the wife's answer is even more important because if she replies in negative then there is NO WAY a husband can take it to the next level.

Not sure if I liked the fact that he said in front of the whole family. Kuch cheezein private hone bhi chahiye and this was a very very very personal matter. Shivaay even mentioned but both he and Anika could have made it clear, in a rather stronger way, that no she can't be pregnant now. Kam se kam, Dadi and Pinky should have understood the hint.

Khair, all said and done, both are finally at that level we all have been waiting for kabse. Toh nek kaam mein, deri kyun 😉

Loved d fact that instead of taking wrong routes by telling his family that they do not want a baby for now or they did try but didn't happen yet or anything else he told family in straight and beautiful way.

If taken other routes then surely today or tomorrow questions would have been raised at annika or she would have been blamed like today dinky didn;t take even a second to jump on annika that annika might have some issue in conceiving. Sadly this is d truth of indian society that fingers are pointed only at women & not at men in such situations. Also if not blame or taunts then also dadi or pinky or family would have started asking them again & again putting them specially annika in pressure to fulfill family demands for family happiness. This also happens so much in indian society that women agree to take relation to next level because of family pressure where as husband fail to understand or they also feel pressure so agree but then where is girls consent here? she should agree with all her heart & not because of any pressure so this is d best way to tone down family expectations or any further questions thrown at annika her in spot. So I loved it when Shivaay explained all of them beautiful that how their relation formed and how it was important for him to become her friend first before intimacy

I felt like pulling shivay into a bear hug for setting an example of an ideal husband today ...Just like you, I was awestruck at his speech. I just could not believe the path he has walked down to reach to this point. I can NOT help comparing him with the old shivay either. it's just such a big big big wala change yet such a beautiful and steady one. i can not get over it mushfika. so nice. as you said in your post, he really did "crawl" into her skin without even her knowledge and she and the fans realized it only when he said it in words today ... yes we knew he understood her and she meant a lot to him but like you said, it never struck us so hard until he said it in words.

First few minutes i couldn't believe how she just went on and said "MY anika is perfect... and then the next couple of sentence left me breathless.

That pain in his eyes for her sufferings, yet that pride that reflected in his eyes for the independent woman she is and for the fact that this lady belongs to him and only him...

See this is I mean when i say your posts contain something that just make me stick till i finish reading the whole thing , no matter how big it is. I just LOVE your description and you way to see through the depth of the characters. The way you described shivay in this bit is so accurate. When i watched the episode again after reading you post, i couldd really see it.

She didn't even take a moment to answer that question. Might not seem like a great deal to many to you but I have always seen an Anika who would shy away from confessing such sensitive factors about herself, mostly because she didn't want to make herself feel vulnerable. From that phase the stage she is in today, her steady way to open up to her husband has been so SO beautiful, I don't think I can find proper words to express how beautifully both Shivay's and Anika's characters evolved...I just can't!!!

underline: exactly. anika had feelings for shivay even before shivay did for her. yet she was just as hard to crack and see through because of her insecurities and because she always thought she would become vulnerable if she loses her heart to him... she just never wanted to admit it to herself that she has feeling for him. remember when she first realized her feelings for him...those bells that she used to hear? she had broken down in his arms saying she was scared...that something that's not supposed to happen is happening. from that stage to today's anika, i just can not stop admiring the way she has opened up...SO MUCH!!! 😳

I can forget all my grudges for gulneet for sometime for giving us this episode. Who knew, after the disaster with piya track, they would really take this sudden turn withi a few hours and make us jump like crazy people😆
