Fantastic Beasts' sequel titled The Crimes of Grindelwald; Jude Law to play Dumbledore
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald finally gets a release date.
The makers of Fantastic Beasts have announced a sequel to the series titled - Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. The first movie was titled as Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.
The sequel is slated to release on November 16, 2018.
The makers revealed the cast of the film. Actor Jude Law will play the role of Dumbledore in the sequel. From the picture, we can see that Grindelwald, played by Johnny Depp, is holding the infamous Elder Wand.
The good news was shared by the Fantastic Beasts' official Twitter account on their page.
They shared 23 seconds video in the tweet.
They tweet reads, 'In one year, return to the Wizarding World with Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. #MagicInProgress #FantasticBeasts'.
In the sequel, Eddie Redmayne will again play wizarding world Magizoologist Newt Scamander, Ezra Miller will play Credence again, Claudia Kim appears as a Maledictus, Katherine Waterston will play the role of Tina Goldstein. Alison Sudol will be seen as Queenie Goldstein again.
The new addition in the cast are Smack bang as Newt's brother, Zoe Kravitz plays Leta Lestrange.
It will be exciting to see Jude Law as Dumbledore in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. He is popularly known for his amazing performances in the movies The Holiday, Sherlock Holmes, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Aviator, Cold Mountain, and many others.
The first film, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them was released in 2016. The movie received a lot of positive response and was a success.
