Deepika Padukone and Farah Khan visit Tirumala temple!

Actress Deepika Padukone visited Tirumala on Friday to seek the blessing of Lord Venkateswara along with director Farah Khan. The actress looked beautiful in a white dress and gold earrings and was clicked by some fans as she visited the temples.

We came across a few pictures of the Om Shanti Om actress and director as they paid a visit to the temple in Andhra Pradesh.

On the professional front, the dimpled-beauty will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmavati. Deepika portrays Rani Padmini in the film. It also stars Shahid Kapoor as Maharaja Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji.

Padmavati has been in news since a long time as the Rajput Karni Sena and some political leaders are against the film's release as they believe it distorts the historical facts and has love scene between Rani Padmini and Khilji. However, Bhansali had clearly stated long back that there is no such scene in the film. But even as the film is about to release, the protests are still going on. Hence, SLB shared a video in which he again assured that there is no such scene between these two characters and said that he respects the queen for her bravery and sacrifice. The Devdas director said that he made this film with honesty, responsibility and lots of hard work.

Talking about playing Rani Padmini, the actress had said in a radio interview, "I did mental and emotional preparation apart from the look-tests. Dialect, because the dialect in this film is very very different. But, at the same time it's a Hindi film, so how do you find a balance to convince people that I play the role of a Rajput. But, I think primarily it's more mental and emotional preparation."

Padmavati is slated to release on December 1, 2017.
