Short term solution for short term problem. How come this problem doesn't exist in summer? Anyone got the answer?

It's better that India had people who know their job in positions of power rather than bottom dregs lawyer turned judges giving instructions on stuff they have no clue about.

Because it affects them too. They have to share the road with everyone else. Do you see them ever talking about the slums and homeless people right outside of Mumbai airport ever? Hell no. I was actually shocked when I saw that. But do these people care what happens in their vicinity as long as they are locked up in their palaces? Of course not.

Um I didn't hear this from any social media like WhatsApp/Facebook.

I read it on a news website. Indian express to be precise.

https://www.google.co.in/amp/indianexpress.com/article/cities/delhi/yamuna-expressway-smog-accident-dhankaur-4927836/lite/

There's the link. They don't mention anything about it taking place in 2016.

Edit-. Since you mentioned so, I read further. NDTV has also reported it as to happening two days ago.

wow! 😲
thats weird and I read on few news website as well which have now been taken down or edited.

What I meant was that apart from relying on short term solutions like artificial rain they should also attack on the root cause of smog ...which is air pollution. so while they apply quick fixes like cloud seeding they should also find a more permanent solution to reduce air pollution levels so that smog doesn't happen in the very first place...

I'm just curious...

sometimes IF can be good platform to learn new things...and I'm not being sarcastic 😳

I don't think odd even se bahut zyada fark hone wala hai...but right now anything's better than nothing

and burning all that straw...such a waste ... that could be used for cattle food...but then like u said the issue about time gap...šŸ˜’

kuch to soultion hona chahiye...this cannot continue at the expense of clean air...😳

I meant Machines not used in these parts.
U know there is a cancer train from Punjab to Rajasthan. there is cancer problem in Punjab due to Excessive chemicals. Still there is no steps taken. this is why I am pretty hopeless when it comes to finding solutions. after one week no one will even discuss this.
