Deepika padukone denies signing sanjay leela bhansali's biopic on sahi

The actor-director jodi of Deepika Padukone
and Sanjay Leela Bhansali has delivered
blockbusters like Goliyon Ki Rasleela...Ram-
Leela and Bajirao Mastani. The jodi's
upcoming magnum opus, Padmavati, which
received a great response from the
audience through its trailer and song, is also
expected to set the box office on fire. As per
the latest buzz, there were huge
speculations that Deepika Padukone has
replaced Priyanka Chopra in SLB's Sahir
Ludhianvi biopic.
In a recent interview with Filmfare, when
asked Deepika about being a part of Sahir
Ludhianvi and Amrita Pritam biopic, she
surprisingly said No.' Deepika said that she
has only signed Vishal Bhardwaj's film titled,
Sapna Didi, for now. The gangster drama
will reunite Deepika and Irrfan Khan after
Piku. The actress will essay the character of
one of the most feared female dons of the
'80s, Rahima Khan, who was popularly called
Sapna Didi, while Irrfan Khan will portray the
character of underworld don, Dawood
Ibrahim. The film will be directed by Honey
Trehan. Sapna Didi became famous for her
attempt to kill Dawood Ibrahim. ( Also

Deepika Padukone is currently busy
promoting Padmavati. The film also stars
Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in key
roles and is set to hit screens on December
1. The film will also be simultaneously
released in the 3D format. Made on a budget
of Rs 160 crore, Padmavati is one of the
costliest films of Indian cinema.
