Part-1

"Ayiappa... Plz save me from that Monster today!! I m 5 minutes late, he'll eat me up for sure" prayed the girl. She kept on murmmering her prays as she was entering the Malhotra Mansion. Wearing a light pink shirt over a perfect blue jeans, paired with a blue blazer, she looked entirely professional. She climbed up the stairs & walked towards the room where she knew he would be sitting in anger. She slowly knocked the door & there came a simple reply. "Come In!!". Nandini opened the door & heard him say,
Manik: 6 minutes!!
Nandini just made a bad face & entered to see him standing in just a towel around his waist. She simply closed her eyes & turned around knowing she caan't go away, and actually quite used to it by now after working as his Personal Secretary for the last two years.
Nandini: Sorry sir!!
Manik: I think u should think of something else as sorry seems to hv no meaning for u as u use it daily for getting late.
Nandini said nothing & just stood quite waiting for him to forget everything and give her instructions
for the day. And then he said,
Manik: I hv practise in an hour. It will be a three hour session today. Match the day's events accordingly.
Nandini: Ohk Sir!!
Manik: And yes... Msg Fab5 about the practise session at Cabir's place, I hv informed him.

CHAPTER 2

I NEED U TO BE THERE... for a little more than Always!!
Part 2:
Manik and Nandini were both in the car moving towards the Malhotra Industries when Manik said,
Manik: Miss. Moorthy... I want this contract with the Singhania's to be ready by day after tommorow. Get Shubham work over it with his team. Let it be ready and get back to me."
Nandini: Yes sir!!
and that was it, like always Nandini had her hand on it. Manik was fullt dependent on her, let it be office, home or Fab5, everything. She joined him two years back as soon as she got finished with her college. Though she was just his Personal Secretary, but actually she was the only link between Manik & his employees. What Manik did was just to give them their jobs & then Nandini took over. She interacted with them, got the projects done & reported to Manik.
Manik himself attended all his meetings and all he needed before the meeting was just a brief from Nandini. He had tried to get that brief from the project leaders and all but he was never satisfied with any of them.
Soon they reached the office breaking Manik's chain of thoughts. He got down the car & entered, closely followed by Nandini. When he thought to himself,
"Why am I weven thinking about Ms. Moorthy... I hv never really thought about her work ever. She really does a lot for me and this company. I don't know what problem Aliya has from her, but no, I can't fire her. But atleast they made me realise her work, I think I should consider giving her a raise this time in her pay check."

CHAPTER 3

Part 3:

The next day Nandini knocked his door at the exact time making him smirk. Nandini entered the room to see manik standing there wearing just his lowers as she said,

Nandini: Good morning Sir..

Manik:(to himself) Sir or Monster!!(to her) Good mrng Miss moorthy!! I don't hv any practise seesion today. Arrange all the meetings according to u.

Nandini: Ohk sir!!

Manik: Downstairs in 15 minutes check on the breakfast.

Nandini: sure sir!!

Nandini moved out of her room and wondered,

Nandini: So simple... How is this Monster in such a good mood today??

Thinking about it she moved down and got to her work. As Manik sat for breakfast, Nandini prepared his schedule and then moved towards him. She gave him the glass of juice and then started,

Nandini: Sir, as we reach the office by 9, I would like some of ur time as I hv a few questions from Shubham's team about the deal with the Singhania's. I suppose i'll be finished with it in about 30 to 40 mins. So I hv scheduled the ur next meeting at 10. After that there are no more important meetings for u to attend all day. I suppose we could use this day for the paper work itself.

Manik: Hmn... Ok!!

CHAPTER 4

Manik Malhotra the man who was known for his attitude had got a smile on his face just by seeing a girl's carefree laughter. Yes she did matter to him but the problem was that she herself had not realised it by then. Now that he knew was he actually in a mindset to accept that fact. The girl who was just an employ to him from so long had not made a place in his heart. The very next day, Nandini was again late for work but Manik didn't even say a word to her.

Nandini: Sorry sir.

Manik: Ms. Moorthy breakfast in 20 minutes. And we have a practice session today in the evening.. Manage the time urself and inform the others.

Nandini: OK sir..

And another same day started but it was not exactly like the other days as Manik was not the same person with Nandini anymore. Nandini did notice the change in him but she was too busy to think about it all day until finally they were at Cabir's place and they all got inside to practise.

CHAPTER 5

The next morning, Manik and Nandini reached office and Nandini saw her schedule. There was a meeting in two hours and she had to brief Manim before that. She decided to instruct the team before going to Manik so that she can talk to him. She went down and had a final discussion with the staff.

Nandini: Ohk so i knw u all hv prepared a lot for this presentation and now i want this deal anyhow... Is that clear??

"yes Ma'am " came a reply from the team as she finished.

Nandini went back up to her cabin and waited for Manik's tea that she had ordered. As the tea came she walked straight to his cabin.

Manik:Come in Ms. Moorthy

Nandini: Thank u sir... Ur tea...

Nandini kept the mug on his table and Manik said,

Manik: So i was waiting for u only... Have u thought anything for Dadi's bday.

Nandini: Yes sir... I have. But i was thinking if we could discuss that after this project, coz u hv a meeting to attend in an hour.

Manik: Oh yes of course, One thing first.

The started with discussing the presentation. It took them about half an hour to go through it completely.

They were still on the last phase of the presentation slides with someone barged into the room suddenly.

Mukti: God manik, I almost thought I forgot the code to ur elevator.

Part 6:

Manik: Shit... How can I forget that i had called her out??

Manik walked out of the house towards her. He reached by her side to see Nandini sleeping on the bench, he was still not sure if he should wake her up or not. He could see her shivering due to the cold, as she was wearing her simple shorts and sleeveless top. He thought again to wake her up but then decided against it and instead got back inside the house and got a bedsheet to cover her up. As he did so he could see a bit of satisfaction on her face. He was about to get back when he realised that Nandini had held the corner of his T-shirt. He bend down a bit towards her to free himself but her innocence was so attracting that he could do nothing but stare at her face. He wasn't able to stop his hands from moving further, as he removed the hair that were falling over her face. She seemed like a cute little child sleeping peacefully. Manik took a few minutes to take in her beauty and them removed his T-shirt fom her hand.

He spent his entire night turning from one side to the other on his bed. Yes, Manik Malhotra had now accepted that he had got feelings for Nandini. What feelings, he wasn't sure yet but one thing was sure that this realisation was something which was surely gonna change his way of looking at her and also his behaviour with her.
