EDT~ ep 9.2.11.17.My Stance~ The bike ride.
To be able to ride a two wheeled vehicle, especially a bicycle requires maintaining body balance, ability to coordinate pedalling, control steering for direction, and speed and brake for safety. For me, the episode uses the symbol of a bike in a big one. For Sharanya seated on her bike symbolizes her need to seek direction,to finding more about the lost five years of her life. The wheel itself, symbolizes progress, on wards motion, continuation and consistency. Sharanya's attempt at riding her bike also indicates prompt action from her side. Since her recovery from the coma, she has been inundated , yet sidelined by all the mixed messages of her lost years. Vyom ,her family feed her accounts,but to her dissatisfaction. But the strange awareness of an unseen presence around her along with a host of paranormal incidents, prompts her to strike a balance between reality and flash images. Her bike ride is thus about taking prompt action, to reverse back to the past and maintain a sync between her life just the two front and back wheels of the bicycle.
Keeping things normal.. Mr. Bisht underplays her mum's concern that Sharanya' manner with Vyom leaves a lot to be desired for. Her dad dusts it off with a common belief that people get angry with those they are close too.. this may not be true, as Madhvi is quite sharp and says it as it .. to Sharanya's mother over the phone that they used her son till their daughter recovered and then threw them him out! now Rajan tries to smooth the ruffled feathers of Mrs. Bisht , apologizes and gives their family an invite to celebrate Sharanya's good health! Mrs.Bisht tells Vyom she has gone bike riding on her own! Vyom grabs the car keys, dashes off to retrieve the damsel!
Feeling the wind in her hair.. riding her bike, a sense of freedom..as she rides on.. she feels the invasion of the sequential images of her two accidents along with her post recovery images!The eerie feeling of another's presence around her even near her!
The fall off her bike! Symbolizes the risk she takes, as she's still not fully healed. Her mind remains imbalanced. The front wheel of life is moving on but there exist partial memory losses of five years of her life.. the rear wheel of her bike of life is part deflated! She waits for an out come? Some memory recall, so she can ride the bike with both wheels in sync! The ghost watches her from atop a hill.. Sharanya recalls a similar accident.. an oncoming car! A cyclist collision! Cyclist face down on the road! Vyom arrives! Saves her from a serious accident ,uprooted tree crashes down on her! the outcome of her fall .. is she is saved from danger! and escorted home safely! With her biked hitched to his car. The ghost watches them drive off.. the rear wheel of the bike..related to Sharanya's past revolves.. on it's own.. as the ghost watches Vyom and Mr. Bisht..
At home Sharanya makes it known she went riding on her own looking for answers.. did she kill some one in the driving accident?? Mr. Bisht assures her he got injured and none other! here Vyom too backs up Mr. Bisht , there was no one there! Sharanya gives him a mouthful she needs some answers about her lost years let all try to remember him! she tells him to back off! and sends him home packing! Her bike ride of life is becoming shaky and wobbly! She will need to maintain a balance of her emotions! She clearly feels people around her are hiding serious truths about what happened in her lost two years? Her social site profile mostly shows Vyom as someone important around her.. bits of information that he fed her ,tally's with stuff on her social network profile. But she is far from satisfied.. she will have to ride on to further a fields..
For a steady bike ride, balanced and trustworthy. Sharanya goes to check the details of the accident that haunts her,if she killed a cyclist in her freak driving accident ! the Police too goes long her father's theory , no one was killed , only minor injuries to a student. Police praise Sharanya for her integrity.. that even five years after the accident, where no complaints were lodged. She comes to double check fatality! Mr. Bisht follows her to the police station.. he's keeping tabs on her, he gives her the emotional blackmail.. he trusts her she wouldn't hurt a fly let alone! Kill someone. If I was in his place I'd be worried , clearly his daughter trusts none of them! Even when she sees a bloody hand in the rear seat of their car she prefers to stay silent and chill with the ice cream treat that her dad gives her! she can sense a presence.. as she moves away with her father.. a bleeding hand with a band of its forefinger rests on the car.. a poet recites.. some secrets are concealed in the book of life.. but how can those secrets be hidden that are written with blood??
Vyom's ride home is a bumpy one.. he recalls their lovers tiffs.. which ended by her always making up ,but now she turns down every move and effort he makes .. he begins to lose hope..tells his father, the bash is for Sharanya , he'd rather not be around as he gets on her nerves! Rajan too dismisses it off as a lovers tiff! And then roughly declares none can!! Separate them not even god1 he loves sharanya and as his dad he'll see to it Vyom gets her!by hook or by crook!.. There is much restlessness within herself. The flash images Sharanya gets, and the details she collects, refrains her to be at peace. Her bike ride is bumpy, uncoordinated, loved ones seem to be lying.. in the precap Vyom reminds her one unleashes at those who one is emotionally close to.. while Sharanya and Vyom dance as a cosy couple, the unseen being stands on the lawn staring at them. Shrananya detects a strange sensation..
