Okay so I just read about the Akshay - Mallika situation
Now first of all my question is that why are these people milking the situation for attention
I'm sure Mallika could have protested right there and then about how she was offended
And Akshay should have apologized
But now this is a social media issue and Twinkle is also respond to this
And what I don't understand is
I see Bharti always making sexual jokes on men
Sadly very few people know how to be funny without using sex as a laughing matter
Akshay obviously wouldn't bang Mallika 😃
And even if he wanted to he'd approach her separately
I think we all know akshay's intentions were not wrong
He is obviously not used to reality shows
What do you think?
I think Akshay should definitely apologise but Mallika is also blowing it out of proportion

Akshay should have said it was a honest mistake.

Funny thing is with right changes and it would have just meant - I am going to defeat you.

I am sorry I believe it doesn't work that way. The actions count and not the ulterior motive. President George HW Bush has been accused of patting women's back while sitting near them. He described that as "good natured interaction". He's old and wheelchair bound, he obviously didn't want to bang them but in what world patting women's rears is considered as a good natured action?

And frankly, women in lower positions of power tend to find it intimidating to stand up to powerful famous men due to fear and embarrassment. But in this case, it may be a misunderstanding. If Akki had a lapse in judgement, he should apologize unreservedly. I will have much more respect for him then. He will set a good precedent as well.

Of course that would be harrassment
But what I mean to say is , it's not like he MEANT it
I'm in no way saying sexual harassment is okay
Since he said it in public it definitely wasn't with bad intention
Now yes I agree with everything else you've said
There is no excuse to sexual harassment or sexual assault
But sadly in such comedy shows people often mix up sex jokes and actual humour

Also Akshay is new to the reality world
He probably didn't even understand that this issue would be blown out of proportion

He could have just ended this very early on by apologizing. He could have clearly said he was misinterpreted and did not mean it badly but if it harmed her or her family, he's very sorry.

When this controversy started akki should have been the bigger person and apologized and moved on...and he should seriously give some attention to her lonely wife so that she stops asking attention on social media and create more controversies .

Since you mentioned Bharti ...I want to add...I don't like Bharti's humour at all barring the child voice she does. She gets touchy feely with the men all the time and sometimes they are clearly uncomfortable 🤢
