Hey amri,I must say you have done a great analysis of the characters 👏..but I must say that IMO they have pretty much wasted a lot of time on this character called Mehak,and her uninteresting and vague story,I'm sorry,but I find nothing interesting or intriguing about the character and I would personally blame it on the actress's lack of expressions,her acting just doesn't do it for me!!on the other hand,I didn't like Sumona much before watching dev but she has certainly grown on me because she acts soo well,so naturally,m literally in love with her character and I hope they do justice to her character!!

And word on Sumona, I found her irritating after her Kapil Sharma stint, but she actually endeared herself to me after her role as Meera. The softness and resilience that she conveys simultaneously as Meera is lovely.

I agree,I found her stint irritating as hell in Kapil Sharma show,but I think with her smooth and convincing acting,she has made meera's character lovable,and this is one of the reasons I was always more interested in knowing about her past rather than Mehak's!!but they kind of brushed it off with a little narrative about an abusive husband and all that,I wanted them to explore meera's character more,and I certainly root for dev-meera because of their natural and amazing chemistry,their potential,I just don't see any of it in dev-Mehak,and what's the point of building up dev-meera angle IF at all they are planning dev-mehak as end game 😕.dev-Mehak is a nightmare for me and I hope it gets a closure for good and as u said,dev-meera can start afresh 😊

I honestly feel DeVeera is only end game😳Mehak is being brought in to alleviate Dev's guilt IMO.

I do feel that if we get S2 we need to see Meera's past more, to see what led her to becoming the strong woman she is, who walked out of an abusive marriage. A secret wish of mine is to see her ex husband and Dev meeting, imagine Dev having a go at him😆

even I believe that dev-meera is the end game 😳..I edited my post 😆..and yes I also would love to see a similar scenario,with meera's ex coming into picture and dev confronting him,but it doesn't seem to be possible in season 1,considering the limited number of episodes,if at all they go for season 2,I want them to focus a little more on deveera and Mehak gone for good 😆
