I am disappointed with a lot of people today for the way they behaved with Arshi. I can't believe I'm writing a post in her support because I really find her crass and uncouth hundreds of times otherwise. I think she's annoying when she speaks too much, especially on WKW. I don't like the way she taunts other people and I don't like the things she says in a fight. So, I am NOT her fan at all.
But, today I can't help but feel bad about the way she's being treated on this show. First of all, Hiten chose the words bad-dimag and besharam for her. Even before she raised objections, I thought it was totally not required for him to do that. Mazak mein it's different but that woman has been nice to Hiten. While the flirting is very insistent, I never thought Hiten had this big of a problem cuz he could just stop talking to her, in that case. So many guests have come and said that Hiten and Arshi's angle is entertaining. This means that it all comes across as a joke and not serious. Hiten has all the rights to not like it and resist it, but the way he has reacted till now, I wasn't expecting this and neither was Arshi it seems.
Second, Priyank got told off which is very good although it's not even 1% of what Salman says to Arshi on a weekly basis. I can't believe that Ben spoke up NOW. What an idiot. And I like her but she was so stupid to not understand what she was supporting or do it despite. This was not the place to gain footage. Dumb. Hina is cunning as usual, didn't say anything to support Priyank and in the garden, was consoling him saying we will do this that. Whatever.
Shilpa has a lot of problems with Arshi. But today, I didn't like what she said for Arshi. I didn't like her reaction in the garden and I did not like that she thought it was fair to speak about the Goa Pune thing in exchange for what Arshi has said. I know she can be very mean to her enemies, but today was not the day. It's unbelievable that I'm saying this in favour of Arshi(whom I don't like), against Shilpa (whose one of my favs). I like her but she cannot get away with everything.
Just what was that stupid ladyboy mimicry of Arshi? Was it supposed to be funny? I thought it was unacceptable that they let such an act be aired. Not to say that I didn't laugh on some jokes, but I didn't like the idea at all. It was offensive.
Arshi cried. And I will go ahead and say it publicly that it was genuine. She did not try to deliver dialogues, speak in between even to Salman, which she always does otherwise and just cried silently. I felt bad for her in this episode. Nobody can take on so many people, including the host, so sportingly as she has. Not even Hina. Arshi is a strong contestant whether good or bad, but she is also human and deserves some slack on and off.
