There is no harm to criticize a filmmaker but deserving authenticity only from is single person not from others is hypocritical and double standard in my opinion. Bollywood movies are made in certain way whether you like it or not. You cant expect only SLB to deviate that standard make an entertaining documentary with accurate historical details but give other clean chit is unfair

I am not giving Ashoka or Jodha Akhbar clean chit either as they were only 20% accurate while rest was making 2 of the greatest Kings of India as a lover boy. Also Kaurvaki was not a princess of Kalinga but what they portrayed about that war in the movie was correct, suppose to be one of the brutal & deadliest war recorded.

So no I do not only expect from SLB but also from other makers to be at least 50% accurate if not more.

I guess you can say the type of cinema that SLB makes is not my cup of tea. Saw the trailer of Padmavati not really that impressive.

So is there a rule or something not to criticize SLB if you find him an average film maker. I do not expect 100% accuracy but at least 50% accuracy should be there.
