Gauri, the strong whose faith in her Shivji never wavered for one second despite being tested beyond her endurance, chased and captured by a man whose evilness knew no limits, blessed with beauty and grace that turned into her foe, marking her a prey for men with lusty intentions, her very innocence that made Om think her to be deceitful, duplicitous, of infidelity.. the list could go on. Despite all her sufferings, the smile, the tinkle, her self confidence never shattered except when Om tore her apart, calling her characterless, worthless and much more. Her heart truly broke then, the last dam breached and all that was left was an empty hollow feeling.
Gauri knew the Oberois right away, her bade bhaiya, her bhaujayi, Rudra and Bhavya who had come to attend her wedding. Her broken heart recognised Omkaraji and she slept like a babe, safe in her mother's arms the night they were up making the chunris. It was just her eyes that refused to acknowledge what her heart saw and felt. Doubting herself for seeing HIM everywhere, she went about her work until Ajay happened. Another man who lusts after her, does not see the pain in her eyes or care to know if she was married or not...
Most of the men she has come across have only seen her as an object of desire, the only genuine love and affection she has received from her Shivaay bhaiya n her first friend in the big bad world of Mumbai.
Om, finally seeing Gauri in a new light, for what she is, how stoic and supportive to her family she is, was much needed. Else the MU's in his head would have never cleared. He was always attracted to her and hated himself for it. Now, he is drawn to her pure soul, like a moth to a flame. Apologising to her in a 1000 ways and unable to bear her sadness.
When the reality struck, it was a bitter pill to swallow. How can I believe anything he says and he is saying all the things that I wanted to hear from him. The ILU was beautiful, intense, passionate, emotional, from the heart. These Obros don't do anything in halves. It is all the way. We got to witness 2 confessions from the Obros.. Loved how they are showing Om-Shivaay progress in their journey to finding their better halves. Om has always encouraged Shivaay to accept Anika and here it is Shivaay encouraging Om.
It was too late now, she could not back off from her path, her friend would be ruined. It was her burden to bear. Om felt dejected by Gauri's refusal but Obros prevailed.
Loved how he woke up to the sight of Gauri watering the tulsi, gloried in the silence, her presence that brightened his day, gazing his fill of her unabashedly, a man wearing his heart on his sleeve. I loved the scene n convo of Om-Shivaay, Shivaay looking at Om fondly, trusting his gut about Gauri that proved to be right for the family, for Om. The heartfelt exchange was needed. I was missing this among the brothers.
The gentle teasing smile that Om bestowed upon Gauri is doing the macarena in me... my babies in pink slayed it totally. The poetry that is flowing effusively from his lips are like a balm to the scorched Gauri who fears yet again that she will not be fortunate to experience the LOVE. But never fear, it is the promise of Omkara Singh Oberoi that he will take his Bride home, with love honor and respect, that was never accorded to her.
I hope we get a full fledged wedding of Rikara as we were deneid that and we do have the siblings in full support and her mother too. Loving the angle that Gauri is Chutki...yes... đđ
