Jhanvi kapoor's debut film leaves sridevi miffed with karan johar.

All may not be well between Sridevi and
Karan Johar thanks to Jhanvi Kapoor's debut
film, a remake of hit Marathi movie Sairat.
According to DNA, the delay in the
announcement has made her a little upset
with the filmmaker. A source told the daily
that Sridevi is of the opinion that by now a
grand announcement should have been
made. Karan had already announced
Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia
Bhatt along with Kesari with Akshay Kumar.
She feels he should now do something
about Jhanvi's debut as well.

Jhanvi and Ishaan Khatter, Shahid Kapoor's
brother, will debut in Bollywood with the
remake of this blockbuster movie. The film
was supposed to go on the floors by
November. A source had informed a leading
daily earlier that the script will undergo a
few changes keeping in mind the audience.
Jhanvi's debut is a long pending one. We
have been hearing about it for many
months now. The young lady's presence at
gala Bollywood events often made it evident
that she is ready to kickstart her filmi career
soon enough. There was a buzz that she will
be debuting alongside Tiger Shroff in
Student Of The Year but that didn't happen.
Sairat is definitely a great debut vehicle for
her because it is one of the central
characters. The whole film revolves around
the boy and girl. The Marathi film is one of
the blockbusters of that year and we guess,
it could be the same for the Hindi version as
well.
While Ishaan was non-committal about the
film whenever asked, his mother Neelima
Azeem did share some details. "It would be
wrong to talk about his debut. The makers
have their plans of making an
announcement. Ishaan has his entire career
in front of him. This was last year... no
wonder Sridevi is getting a bit worried
about her darling daughter's debut!

Why don't they get this into their head - he is not going to make another alia... He is not going to create competition for alia...

He's deliberately wasting Jhanvi's time by keeping her hanging. This way she can't work with anyone else either and has to keep hanging on to his movie that never actually starts.

You almost have to admire his loyalty to Alia. She's not even his own daughter to be going so crazy for her.

KJo's obsession with Aloo has no bounds. No wonder she seems to get so jealous whenever he's around the younglings. Jhaanvi has zero appeal for me, all of them do, but her obsession with Hermes & showing Hermes boxes placed strategically in her photos & her many "candid" pics with some new society boy or the other; makes her seem like a real wannabe. Only Sara seems slightly more interesting so I hope she doesn't turn into a blatant elitist wannabe like her step-Mum & father.

Been hearing that SOTY 2 rumour for almost 2 years. Later that became Sairat remake. She is losing out on valuable time because of KJo. Any parent will be concerned.. I don't expect Sridevi to get the game but what about Boney? He should certainly know what KJo is up to?

Boney Kapoor has a production house himself. Why can;t he launch his daughter? Why are they begging Karan Johar to launch her?
