POLITICS is the last refuge of the scoundrel, it's often said. These days it has also become the go-to vocation of actresses of a mature vintage. Take the case of this moon-faced star from the 1980s who acted in a slew of Bollywood blockbusters and then retired to play mother and housewife. But following a late divorce, she retreated into relative anonymity save for a few outings at celebrity bashes.
