Observation
Constantly we are forced to see Aliya and Ruhi
Adi showed very good acting when he spotted Ishita after she returned from her seven year long stint in Australia
Adi again excelled during the short interlude when Roshni was on the scene
He does exceptionally well when pitted against competent actresses
Ruhi has a disadvantage as she represents the grown up version of Ruhi
Ruhi the child actress who has won a million hearts because she is a born actress- par excellence
So in comparison the grown up Ruhi is fnot that impressive and also basically an actress who has lot of room for improcement
Aliya is an average actress
The result is that to promote the story the second generation has to be included and that is where the the entertainment quotient dips because they are no comparison to the older cast
When Faizal was replaced by Sharad Malhotra in Rana Pratap people could not forget the endearing Faizal who was the younger version. It was an uphil task for Sharad who got the role of the older Rana Pratap but he worked really hard at it
Why not instead wind up and start season 2 with Ishita and Raman representing the new generation with different names
I am sure anything is possible in a soap

Agree totally with you those of us who still watch it do so because of KPand DTs acting.
Ruhi and Simi are brainless opportunists.what has Nikhil uncle done for Ruhi to be so desperately drawn to him.so far we have not seen any redeaming quality. Why invest so much time on a track where the actors just cannot emote but yell and scream.
Loved the trust and understanding Ishitha showed and the tactful handling of Raman.

Parmeet is a very good actor and though he portrays a rather seamy side of human nature he comes across as proficient in his craft
Even Ashok Khanna and Suraj do full justice to their villainy roles
It is the younger lot who are not able to deliver or are not well directed
The four girls Pihoo Anannya Bala's daughter and Nikhil's daughter and Shravu are very refreshing
Puja also makes impact
Kiron makes impact
Shagun s steadfast
And Mani depicts a man of sincerity and loyalty . He is indeed loyal to his craft
The senior actors including Simmi are consistent
Mr Iyer is a subtle character actor
Neena Kulkarni plays her role beautifully
Wish her a speedy recovery
And the senior Bhalas are true Panjabis - gregarious and kind
Romi is very good too
Wouldn't feel the same without Neelu
Its like having an old family retainer- a domestic who has served you well can't imagine a household without the likes of her
So true for many of us in real life
I miss Mihir and Mihika and their exuberance for life and gol gappas
She being a little taller made their romance somehow grow taller in our hearts
Shagun's romance with Dr Paul had a lightness
And Sarika and Romi in the early days were great
Well those were the days
Real life cannot bring back the good old days but a soap can most certainly
Why cannot it oblige
Its not asking for too much is it
