An incomplete proposal-Vyom's love vs Sharanya's friendship?

Hey guys! 😊

Maybe I am reading too much into things (nothing new for me lol) but I noticed something in the flashback scene of the proposal between Vyom and Sharanya.

Vyom had red roses in his hands but Sharanya had white lilies in her hands. Now, you must be like, thanks for pointing that out, Captain Obvious, but who cares?

We all know red is the colour of love. Vyom went down on his knees and presented the red roses to Sharanya with a winsome smile on his face but we did not see Sharanya's reaction to it.

Didn't you guys find it suspicious that they did not show Sharanya's reaction or her giving the flowers to Vyom? No dialogues, no conversation between the- like a story without an ending.

Vyom's dialogue was not even complete- he said 'I love...' but we didn't see what happened after that.

Could it be that Sharanya rejected his proposal and told him she only sees him as a friend?

What say?

Hey!

A very interesting point you've raised.
There's something off about Vyom's character. I'm really intrigued to know more about him.

My theory is that he killed Shiv who's coming back to take revenge from him.

But there are 2 points:
1) Sharanya is grey as well. Namik's voice-over in one of the trailers Sony shared:
Uss Ne Waqt Samajh Kar Guzaar Diya Mujhe
Aur Main Zindagi Samajh Kar Usse Jeeta Raha

2) In the first episode there's a flashback where Vyom recalls Sharanya telling him about asking from God. In that flashback, he's telling her about love and to me it seemed like he was telling her he loves her...

If you notice Clarity, during Vyoms' flashback, everything was shown from Vyom's pint of view. Like you said we weren't shown how Sharanya reacted.
Both the points you made about the flowers and when Vyom confessed, we never got to see Sharanya's reaction.

So it could be that from Vyoms viewpoint it was always love but Sharanya saw him as nothing more then a friend.

Mein bol rahi hun na yeh Vyon bas apni story suna raha hai 🤣
It wasn't a proposal at all... he came running towards her, presented flowers and she had a brought smile on her face stil hiding white rose 🤓 I felt they were acting or may be practicing for some college function 😃

Till now, everything is in Vyom's POV. 🤔
We need Shiv and Sharanya's POV too.🤓

Thanks for the inputs.

Another interesting dialogue from Vyom 'Vyom Bedi ki deewangi...'

So, he referred to himself as a deewana.

Also, just 'cause he prayed for Sharanya does not mean he can't be obsessed with her. People with not so pure intentions pray too.

He has mentioned many times that no one can take Sharanya away from him. Sounds like deewangi to me.

Same thought crossed my mind when i have seen the episode. May be sharanya rejected him and said yes to shiv and hid it from him. i feel vyom's story is incomplete. I too feel that vyom's dad can turn out the murderer.
One more thing i noticed is in flashback, he was playing drums but he said that he is a composer while she writes lyrics. Composer playing drums rather than guitar or keyboard is little weird for me. May be shiv too was part of their team and he is the real composer as he is seen with guitar.

Well it was not so obvious to me Captain Obvious, so thanks for pointing it out. Now it could be because my mind was otherwise preoccupied with mentally stripping the petals off the roses with the 'is he the one, is he not the one' anthem. You know what, I'm going to forgive myself for this digression!

Though I love the Ghost's poetry I have to admit it sounds fancy and just flies over my head. I presume, that voice over means She used him but he loved her? If that's the case, is he back to seek revenge? He seems quite mean to her. I mean, he's changed the hospital into a booth bangla and like Frankenstien did to his victims, he entered Sharanya's dream!

So he is grey, Vyom is grey, Sharanya is grey, the parents are grey - 50 different shades of grey. There you go - I rest my case - Nawab is the hero of my interpretation of this ghastly ghostly story:))))

I agree that everything is being shown from Vyom's point of view. Shiv is yet to enter this story, because funnily enough, he does not feature in Vyom's story or thoughts. Lets see what the future episodes bring ...is this a mon-thursday show?

@Veera- Yeah, Vyom could be covering stuff up.

@beagle- Lol the blue ghost has no chill. I think he is a whitewalker, what say? Which hospital becomes so deserted while patients run around on roofs and in corridors? It's okay though, creative liberty.

I think Blue Ghost's poetry might sound bitter to throw us off Vyom's track.

Nawab can sense Shiv too. Could it be the love story is between Nawab and Whitewalker and not ShivAnya? 😲
