Today's episode really raised a lot of questions with the main one being...Is Vyom Bedi lying?

In episode 1, we were made to believe that Vyom and Sharanya were deeply in love and Vyom would do anything to get the woman he loved back to life. We were all so convinced about Vyom's love for Shranya that not once did we ask if Sharanya loved him back...until yesterday.

As Vyom saved Sharanya from falling off the roof, he was devastated to discover that not only did she not remember their love but she didn't even remember him. She pushed him away not caring if he was hurt or not. Was this a way of her subconsciousness telling her not to trust this man?

Sharanya almost seemed scared of Vyom as she tried to run away from him. Her parents patiently begged her to at least listen to Vyom and hear his side of the story and fill in the gaps of the missing fiveyears of her life.

But even as she listened to Vyom telling her about their love story, she was not hearing him. She felt cold and could sense something, almost as if someone she knew was around her. It unsettled her. In front of her was Vyom, trying to tell her how much they were both in love yet her soul was being called by someone or something else.

As she threw a distraught Vyom out of her room she quite rightly told him that love is felt in the heart, not in the mind.

But even as she watched Vyom consoling her parents and telling them he would make new memories with Sharanya, she began to wonder whether she was being fair to him. Yet she couldn't remove the uneasy feeling from her mind as to why she couldn't remember him. Why she had no memories or feelings for Vyom.

The episode was intriguing today as it really made us question who Vyom was and what his motives were. Was he an obsessive lover who just wanted to possess Sharanya or were they really in love. And did Sharanya ever love him?

And who was the mysterious presence that she could sense but not see. Was he the one who was important to her.

Vikram was great today and Donal was pretty good too. Despite Namik not being in the episode today, his presence was felt throughout.

EDT may have started out as a typical love story between two people with a ghost as the third angle but it's definitely more intriguing then that.

It's sooo good to read your reviews again!! And it's also great to see so many familiar peeps from the JnDSD forum .. happy reunion !

I liked the second episode much better than the first . The story did pick up a bit of pace didn't it. I'm not entirely convinced If Vyom is lying about Sharanya and him being in love... even though it seems like that may be the case. There's a few things that need to be clarified - 1. How did Vyom manage to survive that car accident? rhey showed a flashback of the accident.. was that Sharanya's memory? If it was then that was a pretty bad fall off the cliff! Vyom is one lucky guy to come out of that alive (if it were true) 2. If Vyom did orchestrate this accident to kill Shiv and Sharanya , that was a pretty big gamble. I mean what we're the chances that she would survive and on top of that have a memory loss so he could conveniently plant a fresh new love story in her mind! What if she woke up and remembered everything about her past?? Hmmm it doesn't add up..

I'm liking the suspense though... and of course Vikku! :)

Lovely analysis Whispa👍🏼... I agree with you that EDT is not a typical love story between two people with a ghost as the third angle, it definitely has more shades to it and I'm excited for the story to unfold...I definitely felt that Vyom has some grey shades to his character and the love story that he narrated may not be true, but don't want to get too deep into this and would like to retain the level of suspense...looking forward to Namik's entry and to see how Shiv's story will unfold😛

Hey whisp morning from my side it just rained on my ass and my books and laptop are all covered in plastic bags ( stupid me forgot my umbrella at church ) ... And I took a taxi instead of the bus hoping it would take the freeway (faster route) but no such luck 🤬

I agree that vyom is sketchy am but am skeptical ... He is either lying about their love , because of the memory loss but I don't think so ...

Maybe am a sucker for vikku but something tells me half of his story is true , on the surface every thing he says happened but he is not stating the events that lead to what ever that happened , I feel they were in love or Vyom thought they were in love , which now leads me to questioning the lady , she says love is from the heart , so what does that tell me about her , hear is a man who believed she loved him , but she is now telling us that " I wasn't just that into him "

I would like to believe that it was all in Vyom's head but even with all his intensity of a thousand suns ❤️, everyone reacts as if she did reciprocate his feelings or pretended to ...

What are they both heading , and My ghost is just practicing his rights of being a ghost ... Is he the true love yaya ( that name is too long ) tried to move on from , the love she never knew , the love she met in her sleep ( think about it what if she heard his songs in her sleep and relayed them to Vyom ) or the love Vyom betrayed or did they both betray him (shiv)???

These are my theories but they are too many post so I decided to wait for you ...

I think the story of Vyom & Saranya is True.., and there was a unrevealed story behind before Sharanyas First accident..
After that First accident She lost some of her Memories including Shiv.. And Shiv think Saranya cheated him and trying to go awy from her.. But after some months he know about her Memory loss, and he trying to see Her..
But that time She met Vyom and they are become Best Friends.. And Vyom Proposed Her.. And she fell in love with Vyom with out knowing her Past connection with Shiv..
Shiv Hardly trying to get her.. But she think that Shiv trying to separate Vyom from her.. (That's why vyom know there was a third person between them)
And after all of this Vyom and Saranya going to meet her parents, Shiv want to stop them. Also he want to tell all the flash back stories of Sharanya and Shiv.. He followed them.. She saw Shiv while Driving the Car and get Panicked.. That's why the second accident happen.. She hit His Car.. Vyom and Saranya Get injured and Shiv died...
Vyom recovered but Saranya go to Coma stage.. (Then May be her soul connected with soul of Shiv during Coma stage)

This is the Story of Vyom and he Find out What happens to Shiv..
My Vyom is Not Negative or Bad.. He is Good.. Trust Me...

Thank you for the clear crisp writing which contrast with the chaos in my head😊

To me, it looked like Vyom had manipulated Shiv and Sharanya's story to suit his end and had placed himself in Shiv's role as the friend and lover. Vyom's motives are unclear. The key is in his desire to create new memories. Her memory loss has been quite convenient for him. And his actions are not premeditated but he is clearly a man who bids his time and makes the best of available opportunities.

The background score actually accompanies the Ghost. So, the deewana is the ghost. It is also the ghost that writes poetry and holds a ghostly guitar (just digressing and I cannot resist - if the ghost carrries a guitar, is the guitar ghostly too? because it is an inanimate object and as such does not possess a soul and cannot have an afterlife. So it should be visible to the naked human eye?).

Looking forward to Namik minus the blue light and wind and flickering of lamps. YOu can feel his presence through out- but I think thats deliberate and you are meant to- just like Sharanya can feel the presence of a paranormal being. I like Namik's voice though, and his screen presence, though he can sometimes rush through his lines and almost mumble them.

Lastly, Vyom says 'Im no Saaya that she can forget' - but can she forget the Saaya that is giving her the chills?

I agree the second episode was much better. We saw that its not a straight forward love story between a boy and a girl with the ghost in between. It maybe that the ghost and the girl are actually in love and Vyom is the third party here with very suspicious motives.

I agree with your questions. How did Vyom survive that fall from the cliff?

I don't think Vyom would actually kill someone but I do think he could go to great lengths to 'get' Sharanya.

The makers are doing a good job with the suspense and of course our Vikku is great!

I agree with you that Vyom has grey shades but how grey he is, is the question.

I'm looking forward to Shiv's entry too. It will bring more clarity to the story and bring out Vyom's real motives too.

Firstly I hope you're all dry now!😛

And secondly I love your posts cos you always think differently.

There are so many theories flying about and the one you proposed might be true too.

It maybe that the love story did happen exactly as Vyom said it did but when Shranaya(or your Yaya) 'met' Shiv while she was unconscious in a coma, she fell deeply in love with him.

Perhaps she did love Vyom in her own way but it wasn't the deep intense love that Vyom feels for her.

It's all pretty interesting right now and the makers have done a good job with making the audience think.

Let's see what happens today.

Your theory is interesting too. Perhaps Sharanya had been in love with Shiv before and then Vyom came into her life. It's a possibility.

I dont think Vyom is totally negative but i do feel that he is not being completely honest. He definitely is an obsessive lover and would do anything to keep Shranya even if it meant crossing certain lines. Though I dont think he killed Shiv.

All the different theories people have are so interesting.

And please dont worry about your grammar. it's fine😳
