Well today for first time my post is for #rikara...

I feel really bad for their fans... Ask me why

In any relationship do u jump from i hate you to i love u?

To love someone, you have to give a part of you to that someone...

I L U need not be said, it needs to be felt... N then ofcourse it needs to be said just for reassurance...

A relationship is a progression based on changes in equation...

#shivika went thru all the progression to where they are today... The ILU was felt in every thing they do or don't do for each other... Confession was merely reassurance of what was known...

Despite staying together for months, Om and Gauri have never had any progression... Their lives were filled with MUs alone... forget love, Om has never understood gauri nor has trusted her ever... There was no attraction between them either... Sudden ILU is exactly like what they did with rikara last time... Sudden clearing of MU by that dandi...Om.believed him right away but dint believe gauri who was doing everything for him n his family for months... The fans got a raw deal but for them this lollipop was enuf i guess coz i see them going gaga over the confession...

Isn't the journey more imp that destination...? What has am ever done for gauri? Whr has he proved his love? Wanting to give a chance to their relationship... Respect for gauri for whatever she has done...liking and attraction for her... All these r fine but love... Well when has he ever felt it earlier... Absolutely no Build up... The ILU scene may look poignant but it surely is shallow... There is no meaning to those words...

Gauri's ILU too had ki meaning... Really if she loved him, she wudnt hv gone to take care of her mother without informing anyone at home... N the guy who neglected her fone calls when they were stuck in the village n annika was calling shivaay n she was calling Om, suddenly says ILU ... What happened in one month that he suddenly developed feelings for her? Just her confession n him alleging her again... Is that build up to his feelings?

Sorry but for me #rikara confession is as shallow as chai in saucer... There is no depth to their relationship and theirs is going to be marriage even now with lot of issues..

#rikara fans sorry for my rant but i think u hv got the rawest deal.. Even #ruvya have a better progression

They have always been given RiKara a raw deal.

With all the unlimited potential that their story had they gave them A 1940's thakur with a croc pet,'ice box queens' who were related to thakur and then that was forgotten, the mad hatter bua and her March madness and then to top that throw in the 'characterless' pitch and it is all a random 'bhaji on the beach' style story

Progression toh kya - story hi nahi di unko. I hope they work a bit more post confession of ILU. That in itself is unique as a love story

Just like Shivika and Rikara are different, they have different set of audiences too. What you find as shallow as chai in saucer, for us is as deep as an ocean. Period. Just like u think RiKara love story is raw and don't enjoy it, we don't enjoy Shivika even if getting such a strong build up as u claim. That's all about perception nothing else.

Further, u don't need to feel bad for us when we are enjoying every bit of their journey.

Do not know if I should be saying this but Rikara are/ have been an afterthought always . Theirs i think was a story cooked up on the go bcos people wanted it.

Generally story is made ... characters are defined n refined along with the story line n the actors made to play the roles n the story tweaked again to suit the actors playing the leads again so its win win all the while .

But here they its like they write what ever when ever n shove it down all throats how ever .

Rikara what can i say never stood a chance one way or the other ... if Shivika who have been so lovingly n carefully developed can be shot to pieces who really thought the rest stood a chance ???They should have been given a chance n properly nurtured . Both The actors are real good their talents should have been utilized more appropriately

So yes this sudden confession from Gauri as well as Om is like HSs senseless arc which was stopped midair to meet its end .

Why u started Rikara vs Shivika ???

TM is right yest whn i saw precap... He said I love you. ...

I was scratching my head. Do i missed few episodes ?? Can u tell me moment whn Om fall in love with her ??

If u knw..pls tell me. I will go and watch episode again. I love shivika.. But i like Rikara also.. So i really wants to enjoy Oms love story.

Hope so Gul will give thm good story after remarriage where they will try to understand each other..will try to explore each other...

But right now i dont feel connected with Oms confession..and sudden realisation of love...

There is/was never a need for that. Nor was the comparison to Shivika or RuVya needed. And that feeling sorry, most definitely not needed at all.

Half glass empty, half glass full attitude, you must have known. And when that glass is not yours, you need not have bothered at all whether it is full or empty in the first place.

Scenes small or big, Story intense or not, Characters deep or not, depends on each one's perception.

Comparisons are not allowed. Rikara, Ruvya and Shivika are different from each other and their story is also different. Shivika took 400 episodes to say ilu doesn't mean rikara should also do same. only Rikara fans understand depth of their story, so please don't feel bad for us, we really don't need your sympathy. Every fandom understands only their couple not other couple.

Dear TM, I do get what you're trying to say... But i think we Rikara fans have waited for a really long time, and do not feel that the confession was shallow or rushed. It probably feels like that coz no one saw the 'intensity' in Om as compared to the other leads. (No bashing intended her for comparison, im just trying to explain the difference)

Om has always been the insecure one in the relationship, and its Gauri who's been the rock. Now that Om has realised as to how she's been there for him despite the numerous times he's pushed her away, he sees her in a new light. Being dilpreet gave him a chance to know Gauri in a way that probably Omkara Singh Oberoi could never know. The definition of love for one couple may not be the same for the other, and so, even the journey need not be the same.

Lastly, while i appreciate your point, i beg to differ about the raw and half baked plot. And in no way was this a lollipop. Om's journey was always about overcoming his fear of committments and relationships, and i think the makers have portrayed that very beautifully. His journey of being an Ishqbaaaz starts NOW...

The only romantic couple I find intensity in this show is Rikara. Number of episodes do not define depth. I am absolutely loving the Rikara growth and depth. And the track I am watching on Rikara right now is totally what i dreamt to see. Both Gauri and Om's confession is the best ever confession I have ever witnessed. Once again it is all about perception. What you find beautiful, where you see depth others do not. Try to enjoy what you like ignore what you don't like, it will definitely make this world a beautiful place. Cheers.

I usually don't post in these topics but certain factors got me confused with your post and Looks like we have been watching different shows.Rikara were never attracted seriously what do you think all the "static" and pull pushes were in their story.After so many MU he wanted to be with her unlike with ridimma one betrayal he threw her out of life.Wasn't he the one stopping Gauri time and again without giving a proper reason and he would have never done that if he had no feelings.Right before burning all those pics he uttered "ishq tha ya yakeen tha jo bhi tha ab who jalgayi",that was all about his feelings and HIs break up scene was all about jealousy.

Om would never keep a girl out of some kind of helplessness or just with the term marriage coz he has been living inside a family which was sham in the name of marriage without love.So for him love=marriage so this Confession had to come.Om is a person who thinks from heart and not from mind so that has to be taken into consideration.

One thing yes it looks sudden coz Rikara never got those required screen space which is why it looks sudden without all the dragging.
