Raman went out of the room while the shooter's words were ringing in his mind, that the bullet was for him, ishita came in between. He sat on the stairs and held his head.
Raman -that bullet was for me, but she came in between, she always do this. Har baar mere aur mere buri kismat ke beech aa jaati hai. She always save me like this. Hamari pehli mulaqaat se hi, she is keep on saving me, sometimes it's from goons aur kabhi apne hi baba se. Woh hamesha mujhe bachati hi rahi hai. Woh hamesha mere liye itna kuch karti hai aur main, main kuch nahi kar paata. Why I never able to do anything for her. This is wrong matarani, u always give her chance to proof her love, kabhi mujhe bhi toh maula dijiye to prove how much I love her, to tell her what she mean to me, to show her how badly I need her in my life. He was talking looking at the open sky when he heard -u just love her, u don't have to prove anything.
Raman turned hearing his voice and see baba saheb standing there. He sat next to raman and said -bas usse pyaar Karo, woh utne mein hi khush ho jayegi, apna pyaar prove karne ke liye tumhe goli khane ki zarurat nahi. Just love her the way she loves u. He said calmly.
Raman put his head on baba saheb's shoulder and said-why she did so. Mere hisse ki goli kyun li isne khud par.
Baba saheb -coz she loves u.
Raman -par yeh toh galat hai naa, how can she loves me so much.
Baba saheb -ab galat ho yaa sahi, but sach toh yahin hai that she loves u alot and just want ur love in return. Agar ho sake toh uske pyaar ka jawaab pyaar se dijiyega. He said caressing Raman's hair while Raman was sitting silently beside him.
Both were sitting on the stairs silently, being the support of each other as the person whom they love most was fighting for her life.
After some time,
Raman -thank u.
Baba saheb look at him all amused when Raman said -u told me once that one day I will thank u for forcing me into this marriage. I think the day has come. Thank u so much for giving me ur daughter.
Baba saheb smiled meekly in between his tears and said -i just hope ur and my love is enough to save her, hum nahi jee sakta apni beti ke bina. He said and burst into tears. Raman hugged him tight to console him but his tears were unstoppable.
Baba saheb -itni nanhi si thi woh, jab hume mili thi, ro rahi thi, jab humne usse seene se lagaya tha toh muskura di thi. Uski muskurahat se hamari zindagi muskurane lagi thi. Uske baad naa hume parivar ko zarurat padi naa kisi dost ki. She was my family, friend and mentor too. Jab humse koi galti hoti hum usse aa kar batate aur woh har koshish kar hamari galti sudharti. Usne kabhi hume akela nahi choda, usse thik hona hoga, apne baba ke liye, apne parivar ke liye, apne pati, apni bachchi ke liye, hum usse kuch nahi hone denge. Usse thik kar ke hi dum lenge. Naa raman ,hum usse kuch nahi hone denge. He said in between his hiccups.
Raman just nodded and hugged him tight consoling him. For the first time he was seeing the emotional and weak side of baba saheb. It's really true that a father is always a father irrespective of the position he holds in the society,for a father his child is always his first priority.
Raman -ishita is fine, Aap chal kar mil lijiye usse, dekh lijiye usse.
Baba saheb -no, I will not see her till the time I punish her culprit. Uss Shagun ko saza dene se pehle hum apni ishu bitiya ko shakal bhi nahi dekhenge. Waise bhi hume chain uss Shagun ko saza dene ke baad hi milega. Aap jaaye ishu ke paas, unhe aapki zarurat hogi.
Raman -ishita ke paas uske saare doctor dost hai, aur ruhi bhi hai. Iss waqt aapko jyada jarurat hai kisi ke saath ki.agar iss samay maine aapko akela chod diya toh kal ishita ko kya jawaab dunga that why I left her baba alone. Toh mujhe yahin rehne dijiye, aapke paas. He said and adjust comfortably beside baba saheb.
Baba saheb smiled and both continues talking. Baba saheb was telling Raman all about Ishita's childhood while Raman was just listening to him. Soon baba saheb start feeling sleepy as it was three at night. Raman told him to rest and took him to his bedroom. Soon baba saheb slept and raman went to ishita's room. He saw Mimi were sitting on the couch looking at ishita and busy in talking. Raman too joined them and told them that the attack was planned by Shagun. Mihika asked about shagun and mihir told her everything about shagun. Mihika was shocked to know how disgusting she is. They talked for sometime and soon Mimi too slept. Raman went to ishita and saw ishru sleeping peacefully, ishita under the effect of medicine while Ruhi was sleeping peacefully hugging her mother. Raman caressed their faces and planted a feathery kiss on their foreheads. Ruhi stir in her sleep and hugged ishita more. Raman pat her slowly and she slept again. Raman too adjusted in the little place available next to ishru. And soon he too slept tired of the days happenings.
Abhi came in between to check ishita and smiled seeing ishraruh sleeping together. They were sleeping cuddled in each other while Raman was holding ishru protectively. He checked ishita's bp and went back.
Soon it was morning, ishita was first to open her eyes while everyone was sleeping due to exhaustion. Ishita wasnt able to move because of the fresh stitches and it's pain but could move her neck and could see her little family sleeping hugging her tight. Ruhi was sleeping next to her keeping her little arms on ishita's tummy while Raman was also holding her tight. She smiled seeing ruman. She caressed their cheeks softly breaking raman's sleep. He opened his eyes and saw her smiling.
Raman got up seeing her up and went to her. He sat next to her and caressed her cheek. She closed her eyes feeling his touch and next second he hugged her tightly and start crying bitterly. Ishita too hugged him back and start consoling him.
Few minutes passed like this, Raman was crying bitterly hugging ishita tight while she just tried to console Raman in vain.
Ishita -chup ho jaiye raman, see I am all good. Mujhe kuch nahi hua. she said caressing his back continuously.
Raman -but ho toh sakta tha naa, u know that bullet was for me, but u took it on urself, kyun. Aisa kyun kiya.he said raising his head.
Ishita -kyunki hum aapse bahut mohabbat karte hai.aur aapko takleef mein nahi dekh sakte. she said cupping his face.
Raman -itna mohabbat nahi karni chahiye tumhe, ki khud ko hi bhool jao. This is not right.he said and pecked her temple.
Ishita -aapki mohabbat mein sab jaayaz hai. She said smiling in between the pain while Raman just hugged her tight again. they stay in each other arms for sometime when Raman said keeping his head in her valley -i love u ishita.
Ishita got shocked hearing this from Raman and said -kya kaha aapne, Raman.
Raman raised her head and said -wahin joh suna tumne, I love u ishita. Bahut pyaar karta hoon main tumse, phir kabhi mujhe chod kar jaane ki koshish mat Karna, main mar jaaunga tumhare bina. He said and pecked her lips softly making her smile. She wrapped her arms around him and said -i too love u alot. Main bhi kabhi aapse dur nahi hona chahti. She said and Raman took her lips in his kissing her softly. He chewed her lips softly not to suffocate her while she too kissed him back. After sometime he broke the kiss and pecked her temple.
Raman -thank god, tumhe kuch nahi hua .u know we all were so lost without u. Ruhi toh itna roh rahi thi, It was being difficult to control her
Jab tunhare paas sulaya tab jaa kar soyi. He said making ishita look at little Ruhi. She caressed ruhi's face and said -sorry betu,u cried alot for mumma naa.she said making Ruhi stir in sleep. Ishita patted her slowly and Ruhi snuggled more into ishita and slept. Ishita pecked her temple ,then asked looking at Raman -baba Kahan hai.
Raman -apne room mein.
Ishita -hamare paas kyun nahi hai.
Raman -he don't want to come to u unless he punished ur culprit.
Ishita -and who is she, Shagun hai naa.
Raman -how did u know, he asked surprised.
Ishita -wahin hai jiski itni himmat hai ki aap par goli chalwaye.warna kisi ki aukaat nahi hai ki hamare pati ko nuksaan pahuchane ki soche. Hum chahte hai ki baba iss baar usse bahut buri saza de, and I know he will give.
Raman hugged her and said -yes, he will punish ur culprit but for now u rest, u need it badly. He said and pat her and soon she was sleeping again.
On the other hand, baba saheb's men went to bring shagun with them. They went to the jail were she was kept, give some money to the cops there and brought Shagun with them. They tied her in a sack and put her in the dickey and drove towards their village.
Shagun was taken to the haveli at nine in the morning. His men took her to the underground of the haveli and dumped her on the ground.
She was screaming for help inside the sack when baba saheb ordered his men to open the sack. They opened it and Shagun came out coughing.
The men offered her water, she gulped it in a while and then asked looking around -where am I.
Baba saheb -wahin jahan hona chahiye, jail mein. Par police ki jail mein nahi, baba saheb ki jail mein. Here I will punish u for trying to kill my son in law and end up harming my daughter. He said in a dangerous voice making Shagun scared to wits.
Shagun -kya matlab hai iska. She asked in a scared voice.
Baba saheb -wahin toh Aap samajh rahi hai,we have kidnapped u.
Shagun -but why.
Baba saheb -kyunki hume kuch baat karni hai aapse, kyun aap hamari beti aur uske pati ke peeche padi hai. Kya chahti hai aap, paise naa.boliye kitne chahiye, hum aapko muh maangi rakam denge.
Shagun got happy and said -fifty, nahi sixty nahi seventy five no no u give me 100 crore, main chali jaaungi, uski zindagi se. Kabhi wapas nahi aaungi.
Baba saheb -woh toh hum aane bhi nahi denge. Wait here only, I am coming. He said and went out while Shagun got happy and said -wow, yeh toh baithe bithaye lottery lag gayi, jail se bhi baahar aur itne paise. Wow. She was thinking when he saw baba saheb coming with two sacks.
Baba saheb -hum teri aukaat jaante the, issliye humne pehle se intezaam karke rakha tha, yeh pachas crore ke jevar aur yeh pachas crore cash.
Shagun got up and check the sack. She got happy and said -ab main kabhi bhi raman ko pareshan nahi karungi.
Baba saheb -thank u, par yeh toh teri keemat hui, teri saza abhi baaki hai. He said and pushed her into a dark room and told his men to keep both the sack there.
Shagun -yeh kya hai.
Baba saheb -hamari khatirdaari, u wanted money naa, now u have it. Now enjoy ur life with this money. Sab koi kaam kholkar sunn lo, naa koi isse khana dega naa paani. Yeh aurat sirf paise khayegi, aur iss andhere kamre mein rahegi.aur agar bhaagne ki koshish ki toh bejijjak isse goli maar dena. He said making Shagun shocked.
Shagun -nahi u can't do this to me.
Baba saheb -i can do anything, tujhe lagta hai naa ki zindagi jeene ke liye daulat bahut jaruri hai naa, I am giving u money,jee ab apni zindagi. Hum tujhe maarenge nahi, par tujhe jeene bhi nahi denge. Tujhe til til kar maarenge. He said to her and then said to his men -samajh gaye naa, naa Isse paani dena hai naa khana aur agar bhaagne ki koshish karo toh goli maar dena. He said and went out leaving a crying and shouting Shagun behind all set to finally meet his daughter .
