But what UN did was INSULT. Insult to every God and Goddess, especially LakshmiNarayana and ParvatiShiva. While writing it from Shakta philosophy is fine, there must be some sort of coherent thought to it. Writing Narakasura kidnapping Mahalakshmi, who is Aadi Shakti as well is very wrong. While Sita Haran is different, here Lakshmi is the Para Brahma Swaroopini. It is a grave insult to her, as well as to Mahadeva. Lakshmi, who in my view point is like Mahadeva's sister- how will He give her to Narakasura? UN has depicted it wrong. Additionally, Lakshmi is not ONLY fortune/wealth.

True. In all this he dragged Shiv into it while it is Brahma who gave Narakasur the boon . I know he has no respect for our culture, heritage in general and epics in particular. I know he is least bothered about the Devine charecters and their dignity while penning his story. I wish one day he will learn the lesson in a harder way.

People who distort stories and almost malign the characters of Gods and Goddesses will learn their lessons as the Gods and Goddesses themselves see fit.

I basically believe in our two great epics Ramayan and Mahabharat next in toe Mahabhagawat. I don't feel connected to what UN is trying to tell. I worship Sakti but Krisna and Satyabhama killing Narakasura look authentic...to me. Also I don't hold any good opinion on UN who can be awarded the title of " The Master of Distortions"

Yeah lakshmi di totally agree with you... I just read local beliefs for knowledge and also to know that if i didn't get confuse with 2 demons of same name but that not the case.. Writer is showing distorted version.. the story is written is something different even in local beliefs also.. If he wants to show that story so he can show the actual version.. there is no need to distort the story this much.. even in local beliefs it is not written that devi kamakhaya/ Mahakaali killed him...

There are different variations; this track is not completely distorted or fictionalize. There is a popular belief that Narakasura demon was killed by Goddess Kali. HERE it is
Naraka Chaturdashi (also known as Kali Chaudas , Roop Chaudas , Choti Diwali or Naraka Nivaran Chaturdashi ) is a Hindu festival, which falls on Chaturdashi (14th day) of the Krishna Paksha in the Vikram Samvat Hindu calendar month of Ashwin . [1] It is the second day of the five-day-long festival of Diwali . The Hindu literature narrates that the asura (demon)
Narakasura was killed on this day by Krishna ,
Satyabhama and Kali.
The festival is also called as "Kali Chaudas", where Kali means dark (eternal) and Chaudas means fourteenth, this is celebrated on the 14th day of the dark half of Aaso . In some regions of India, Kali Chaudas is the day allotted to the worship of Mahakali or Shakti and is believed that on this day Kali killed the asura (demon) Narakasura . Hence also referred to as Naraka-Chaturdashi, Kali Chaudas is day to abolish laziness and evil which create hell in our life and shine light on life.
