One of Bollywood's top diva of today,
Deepika Padukone, launched the much-
talked-about biography of veteran actress
and BJP Parliamentarian Hema Malini. The
book is called Beyond The Dream Girl.
Today, at the event, Deepika talked about
her relationships, Padmavati and dream girl
Hema Malini. Talking about romantic
relationships, the actress said, ''Romantic
relationships are complicated.'' During the
event when writer Ram Kamal Mukherjee
said Hema ji's parents had put a matrimonial
ad in the paper, Deepika joked, ''Like Hema
Malini's dad did, my father may also be
looking for a match for me,'' she further
said.
Talking about Padmavati, Deepika said that it
has been quite exhausting to shoot the
movie. Recently, the makers of the film
shared the trailer and Deepika looked like a
million bucks. She has captivated millions of
hearts already in the avatar of Queen
Padmini. Deepika's dialogue epitomises
women power. "Rajputi Kangan mein utni hi
taaqat hai jitni rajputi talwaar mein hai,"
Deepika Padukone says at the end of the
trailer, leaving us wanting for more!
Talking about Hema Malini's biography,
writer Ram Kamal Mukherjee has penned
Hema's journey till now in this book. From
Hema's much gossiped platonic love affair
with Jeetendra to the incident of bumping
into dashing Dharmendra for the first time
this book claims to have a lot of never-
mentioned-before facts. The book is divided
into 23 chapters, of which two are
dedicated to Hema and Dharmendra's
daughters Esha and Ahana.
