CHAPTER 144 - Written by Shabs
Sidharth kept remembering the look in Roshni eyes, her tears,.her disappointment...which didn't allow him to sleep...A burden of guilt overcame him
She was hurt...He didn't know whether he was right or wrong, he just knew that he wanted her, always and forever by his side..
He wanted her so bad that he couldn't think straight.
When it came to Roshni, he couldn't differentiate between what was right and what was wrong...
With Roshni it was always easy to sleep at night..
But now the huge bedroom felt nothing, but worse than Hell.
His eyes wandered over the room, which was wrapped in darkness, with only a lampshade lighting a corner.
Sleep was far from his mind...
ROSHNI ROOM
DD had fallen into deep slumber, after singing her a lori...but for Roshni sleep was far away...
She twisted and turned most of the night, but it was useless.
She glanced at her mobile, every now and then, but Sidharth had not called or even sent a message.
Old habits die hard, and with Roshni the only way she knew how to deal with stress, was midnight snacking..
Quietly Roshni got out of bed, trying hard not to wake DD, and stepped out of the room and made her way to the kitchen...and began to ramaged through the refrigerator
"Hey what's up Sweety?" Asked Soniya as she entered the kitchen
"Nothing" replied Roshni innocently "Just hungry"
"Really?"
"Hmmm.. Why? "
"Phir tumhare chehre pe 12 kyon baj rahe hai?"
"No. ..aisa kuch bhi toh nahin...I'm just hungry"
"Sweety...I know you very well. You only have these midnight cravings, when you are stressed" sighed Soniya, as she took hold of her hand
"You are not good at hiding your emotions, especially in front of me" she stated blankly and dragged her to the lounge, and sat her down in front of her
"Do you want to talk about it?"asked Soniya holding her hand protectively
Roshni closed her eyes, and allowed a few tears to roll down, while Soniya wrapped her arm around her
"Sssh...kya hua?"
Roshni slowly broke the hug, and wiping away her tears, turned to look at Soniya
"What am I supposed to do Sonu? It's not my fault"
Soniya looked at her confused
"Huh. ..Do about what Sweety?. I'm lost"
"Sidharth...I think I broke his heart" her voice filled with despair. ..
"Sweety, you couldn't break a flies heart...let alone Sidharth,.and he knows that very well... Now start from the beginning, and tell me what happened?"
Roshni explained the situation, and how happy Sidharth was...They were finally going to be together after 4 months. ..
"Now Sidharth is angry with me..What should I do Sonu. batao mein kya karoon?"
"You won't need to do anything. Trust me. As soon as JeejuSa temper lightens up. .he'll come running. You know how much he loves you"
"I know...but still...He thinks it's all my fault Sonu, and maybe he's right...
Maybe I should have made some excuse, and stayed with him. Now he's angry.
I'm so confused.. " Roshni held Soniyas hand
"Sometimes he just makes me so angry. He over reacts, and his possessiveness toh alag hi level pe hai...
Now he's angry... Message toh kya. .call bhi nahin kiya..He's taking all his frustration out on me" she said making a cute pout.
Soniya eyed her for a few moments. ..and finally took a deep breath
"Roshni try and look at the situation from Sidharth point of view...He's your husband! He has every right to be disappointed. The last 4 months have not been easy for him.. He has done everything in his power to keep you safe and protected. Whatever you have asked he has done..Even if it meant fulfilling your stupid kasams.
NO other husband, would not have been so understanding??
He is a man that left his home, and lived in Dev house, for a whole month, so that he could protect you and make you feel safe. For Sidharth, , his one and only priority is you...
In return, all he wants is your time, love and affection ..
Is he asking for too much???
Soniya caressed her hair "He loves you a lot Sweety. Trust me. He just pretends to be really mature, but he isn't and you know that. He is a child at heart. When it comes to you... he looses all sanity...and I'm sorry to say..But I'm on JeejuSa side" she spoke with a hint of humour
"I don't blame him for being upset. He has desires. He has needs...He's your husband for God's sake, and has every right on you..."
Roshni listened intently...to each and every word, as she began to feel more guilty of her actions
"I guess I kind of over reacted. .." she said as she heaved a huge sigh
"Anyway Babes tension kyon lehti ho. ...
You know what Sidharth is like! He's very Janooni...
When it comes to you my dear, his logical thinking takes a hike. But believe me, he can never stay angry with you for long" replied Soniya as she hugged her tightly
""And I can bet right now, Sidharth hasn't slept either" whispered Soniya against her ear...
"I know" whispered back Roshni...teary eyed "I know"
SIDNI ROOM
Seconds, minutes,, hours passed
It was late night, but Sidharth wasn't able to sleep at all.
He was continuously tossing and turning
He was restless without his Roshni.
She had taken all his peace with her, and had left him hanging in the midst of deep chasm
She was the only person, who had the power to shake his whole world...
His heart screamed to be with her.
He sat up on the bed, and picked up his mobile from the side table to check the time..
It was 3am. ..
Sighing he got up and went out on the balcony, hoping the fresh air would clear his mind. ..
"Should I call her..?"
He shook is head immediately
"No. ..no I won't. She'll think I'm a desperate soul..." after a brief pause
"Okay... I am a desperate... " he muttered to himself, whilst looking up at the moon
"No...no...nahin call karunga. ...besides she hasn't bothered to call me either..toh phir mein kyon karoon" he tried to convince himself
After a while, he walked back to his bed...and sat down, miserable
Just then his phone buzzed and without looking, at the caller id, he answered
"Roshni" his impatients escaped his lips. ..But to his dismay the one on the other end was just some stupid idiot, with a prank call
Sidharth cursed the caller and slammed the phone against his bed. ..holding his head in his palms. .
Roshni face kept flashing in front of his eyes...calming his fast heart beats. He picked up her picture and stroked it gently
"Tumara yeh cute face dekh ke, gussa bhi karna chahu, toh woh bhi nahin kar sakta.." he sighed cradling the picture against his chest as he lay back, closing his eyes
"Oh God! kitna mushkil hai Roshni ko apne mind se nikhalna. ..I just can't get her out of my mind!"
The clock struck 3.35am, and sleep still refused to make its entry. .
He decided to finally call her, keeping his hurt ego aside
He dialled her number and she answered on the first bell
"Sidharth!" she whispered excitedly
"Seems like you were waiting for my call...so impatient" he commented smiling
"Me impatient. Nahin toh!! Maybe I was expecting somebody else's call! Why are you giving yourself so much importance" she answered teasing him deliberately
"Hahaha very funny...LIAR" he hissed
"It wasn't a joke" she yawned
"You didn't sleep kya!" asked Sidharth concerned
"Tum bhi toh nahin soye..Neither have you" she replied
"It's been 5 hours and 14 minutes" he mumbled
"Huh. ." She asked clueless
"Since we last talked"
Roshni giggled.."hahaha...talked ya fought". ..and Sidharth became irritated
"What's funny..."
"You..You're funny"
"Ab tum meri halaat pe hasi aa rahi ho!"
"Haha.. No...hahaha...oops..No...Sidharth. .I was just" she couldnt get herself to stop giggling, and before she could finish her sentence, Sidharth slammed the phone down
"Arrey!!!!" Roshni sulked..."I was just joking...What does he think of himself..Samaj tha kya hai apne aap ko?. Pagal kar ke rakha hai isne..So stubborn Now if you phone I won't pick up. Idiot" she sulked as she lay back down. ...
Sidharth swallowed hard, and hit his palm against his forehead. He couldn't believe that he had disconnected the line...but being in that stubborn mood..He put his mobile away...
"Mere yaadon mein tum ho

He sighed heavily...and hid his face under his pillow.
Time crept by slowly...The clock struck 4am
Sidharth sat in deep thought, he was still unable to get himself to sleep
He picked up his phone and finally called Rahul
"Hey Rahul...What's up?? What are you doing?"
"Playing Badminton! " he mocked in a sleepy tone
"Huh"
"I'm Sleeping obviously. What normal people usually do at this time of night... Time dekha hai tumne? Meri neend karab kar diya. ..aisa kounsa mountain toot pad hai tujhpe?"
"Arre kamine. . I can't even call you when I want...kaise bhai ho tum!" complained Sidharth
"Arre Bro relax. .I was just kidding. ..dost dost. ..bhai bhai nahin kaam aayega to kaun aayega"
"Hmmm" replied Sidharth
"Everything okay" asked Rahul yawning
"Why wouldn't it be...everything is just Perfect. Fantastic"
"Perfect! Fantastic!"
"Haan. SUPERB. Everything is just Dandy" Replied Sidharth trying his best to sound convincing
"Who are you trying to fool? Judging from your voice, tum kuch pareshaan lag rahe ho"
"Why would I be pareshaan. .."
"How do i know...maybe your missing Roshni? " guessed Rahul
"No...why would I miss her.."
"Yeah right! Did something happen between you two last night?"
"Huh... tch... No!"
"Last night tu Roshni ko ghar chodne gaya...then suddenly you came home in a bad mood...fir bhi to Yeh kehna chahta hai ke kal raat kuch nahin hua. ..you think ke mein pagal hoon!"
"There's no need to think. Tum pagal ho! Samja! And like l said I'm totally fine"
"Then why are you awake...?" asked Rahul yawning again"
"Ainvay. ..meri marzi ..."
"Hahaha. Well if your not going to tell me .. phir chal phone rakh.. ..I'm tired and I'm going back to sleep. ..and Bro I advice you try and get some sleep too!"
Sidharth took a deep breath "Aacha. Go back to sleep.." and he disconnected the phone. .
"Aur mein bhi koshish karta hoon...sleep...where are you? " he sighed as he lay back
NEXT MORNING
Sidharth woke with a heavy head and experienced sadness engulfing him
Even though he had finally fallen asleep late, he wasn't sleepy at all .
He felt a pinch in his heart, as he looked over to an empty side of the bed. His Roshni side.
He felt a void, and a sense of guilt for encaging his heart. He felt depressed, and desperately tried to shake the feeling
Sidharth got up and made his way to the cupboard..
He needed a shower...to freshen his mood.
As he searched for a towel.. his eyes fell on one of her sarees.
He took hold of it, and smelt the sweet fragrance of it...
All his beautiful memories with Roshni flashed before him..And he smiled. .
He sat on the bed, still inhaling the fragrance of the sarees, and a small tear made its escape, from the corner of his eyes. .
It was hard for him to stay away from her..
He was missing her smile. He was missing her blush, her cute expressions...and above all he was missing her warmth and her love...
"I'm sorry baby. ...I'm so sorry. ..I know I over reacted. ..I know ...I'm so sorry..."
"Hey Bro" greeted Rahul as he walked into his room.
Sidharth quickly tucked the sarees under the bed covers...But this action was not gone unnoticed by Rahul..
"Not now Rahul. ..not in the mood for chit chat!"
Sidharth got of the bed and walked towards the balcony..followed by Rahul
"Bro. .why the gloomy face. Tu itna dull kyon ho? Even last night you seemed worried. Then you called me up, in the wee hours of the morning...Kuch hua hai kya...tere aur Roshni ke beech?"
Sidharth glanced at him, ...
"Haan! I mean NO!!!...nothing?"
"Tumhari shakal baata rahi hai, ke tum raat bur soye nahin...did you sleep at all last night?"
"No!!...I mean Haan. Of course I did..."
Rahul let out a small giggle
"Don't tell me...Daant padi kya biwi se" he nudged him..But in return, got a death stare from Sidharth.
"Just shut up Rahul." growled Sidharth, as he shrugged him away
"Problem kya hai Tumhari. What's your problem. ..Kal se angry young man walla look carry kar rahe ho. Tussi kabhi has bhi liya karo" teased Rahul
"I'm perfectly fine...look I'm happy!" Sidharth replied, putting up a fake smile"
"Phir mujhpe kyon gussa nikral raha ho?"
"Gussa. ..I'm not on gussa. What makes you think that?"
Rahul shrugged his shoulders
"Oh I don't know. .Maybe your rude attitude. ." mocked Rahul. ..
"There nothing wrong with my attitude. Mein bilkul aache mood mein hoon"
"Yeah right...I know ke tum Roshni ko leh ke pareshaan ho?:
"No...Mein uske liye Parehan nahin hoon. ..
Ajeeb insaan ho tum. Why do you always think that Roshni is responsible for all my emotions? "
"Nahin hai kya?"
Sidharth remained quiet as he took a quick glance at Roshni picture
"Hmmm. So tell me, What did you do now. ..?" asked Rahul
"Huh. ..ME!!!" shrieked Sidharth
"Yes you...Don't tell me you had a fight with Roshni" ..he asked raising an eyebrow
Sidharth shot a few angry glances at Rahul, and turned away
"Why do you always think I did something...I didn't fight with her okay" he shrieked
"Oh. .I thought. ."
"She fought with ME!!!!"
Rahul tried to hide his grin "Oh! Big difference Bro"
Sidharth rubbed his temples with his thumb, as he sat down on the couch
Rahul closed his eyes for a second, and took a deep breath, before sitting down besides him
"Tell me what happened? "
"I said nah. ..nothing happened! Stop irritating me! "
"Hawww!!!" I'm irritating you!!! Fine! Phir mein jaa raha hoon. I'm leaving..
Bas yehi din dekna bakhi tah... DOST DOST NAH RAHA...BHAI BHAI NAH RAHA.. Zindagi humein tera aitabar nahin raha. Meri toh koi value hi nahin. ..I know when I'm not needed" snarled Rahul, faking a sad face and completely overacting...
"Thoda zyada nahin hogaya..Rahul" commented Sidharth, raising an eyebrow
"Ab Drama baand kar. Hold your drama. NUATANKI Kahin ka"
"Arre salle...its not drama...Sach mein my dil dhuking!" he sighed turning his face away dramatically
"Hogaya?" asked Sidharth
Rahul turned back to him "Haan Hogaya. Ab bol"
"I...I need some advice" whispered Sidharth, in a very low tone
"Huh! What did you just say" teased Rahul deliberately
"I said I need your advice!" this time his voice a little louder
"Wah...Sidharth Khurana is desperate for my help" teased Rahul as Sidharth growled
"Rahulll"
"Aacha bol"
Sidharth stood up and began to pace up and down the the room...brushing his fingers thigh his hair...
"Woh Roshni" sighed Sidharth
"Roshni..., I already knew she was behind your weird behaiour. Yaar tum dono itna kaise ladte ho? Thakte nahin ho kya?" he replied shaking his head..
"First Listen to me. .."
Sidharth ranted the entire story to him as Rahul sat and listened intently and ended with the comment
"And madam got angry"
"Yaar... from what you have told me, quite honestly Roshni is not at fault. ..its all your fault"
"Huh. ..my fault. She's the one that ruined what could have been the most special night our lives..." Sidharth replied offended
"Of course it's your fault. My poor behna got trapped between her mother and her husband...and besides your the one that gave DD aunty permission to take her home. .."
"Here we go again. ..I didn't give permission. In fact I didn't say anything"
"Whatever Bro. ..go and apologise"
"Mein! Mein kyon? Why do I always have to apologise. .."
"Because you took it too far...itni se baat ko itna stretch kardiya"
"Mein pagal hoon. ...For your information, maine kal raat phone kia usko .I called her last night. ..and she...she"
"She what"
"She laughed at me.."
Rahul eyes widened...trying to hid his chuckle
"What!! She laughed at you. What an unforgivable sin. How could she be so mean..." he replied trying his best to keep a straight face
"Laughing at 'The Sidharth Khurana'. ..how could she Man!! No one dares to laugh at Sidharth Khurana!."
"Kamine Tu bol hi mat. Hamesha uski side lehta hai" Sidharth replied rudely
"Bro, she has more sense than you. It's obvious I'd take my behna side over yours anytime...just face it Bro when it comes to Roshni...your brain takes a hike"
"Tum chup chap bait nahin sakta?.."
Rahul shook his head "Nope"
"Whatever! Mujhe iss baare main tujse aur baath nahin karni. ..mein ja raha hoon" hissed Sidharth
"And thanks for nothing" he hissed, as he barged into the bathroom slamming the door behind him
Rahul shook his head, and took out his mobile from his trouser pocket..and dialed a number
"Hey jellybeans...missing you"
"Awww honey...missing you too"
Rahul told Soniya about the SIDNI fight
"I know Honey...Roshni told me all about it last night"
"Pata nahin. ..mere bhai kab sudrega. .."
"My sisters the same. ..why can't they just talk and resolve it...its not a big deal."...
After a momentary pause
"Rahul you know nah, that these too are as stubborn as each other. ..Their fight is simple but they are making it complicated. ..idiots" sighed Soniya
"Jellybeans. .I was thinking...hum hi kuch karen"
"Arre wah...my husband as become smart living with me...proud of you...:" chicken Soniya
"Huh. .what do you mean...that I was stupid before?" Sulked Rahul
"Ummm anyways...Try karke dekhte hain. Lets bring the Sidni Love Story back on track... In other words inki love story ko teek karte hai...Plus I have an idea" smiled Soniya. .
"What are you planning. Kya karne wali ho?"
"Dekhte jao" she chuckled
"That's like my girl" smiled back Rahul
DD HOUSE
"Bacha. ..wake up" called DD lovingly
"Sidharth sone do nah...morning kiss baad mein doungi"
DD tried to hid her giggle "Bacha. ..I'll pass your message to Sidharth when I see him.."
Her words made Roshni get up with a jerk
"Mom! Aap! . ..I...I...thought..." she swallowed hard
"You thought I was Sidharth" grinned DD
Roshni blushed for a second
"Ahhh...What time is it" she asked suddenly, trying to change the topic...
"It's almost nine"
"Whattt!!!" yelled Roshni
"Why didn't you wake me earlier Mom"
"I thought you must be tired from the fast. ..isliye nahin utaya...Anyway freshen up my child..today I have made all your favourites for breakfast. .."
"Really! You cooked especially for me" smiled Roshni
DD looked at her... "I know it's not much...but I'm trying"
Roshni got up and took DD into a tight hug
"Mom it's okay...you don't need to prove anything to me"
DD smiled, and kissed her forehead
"I'll make it up to you Roshni...I promise" her voice teary
Roshni took her in another tight hug...
"Okay Bacha...go and get fresh..and we'll have breakfast together...After that we'll do anything you want. Today my entire day belongs to you" DD said lovingly, as she walked towards the windows and drew the curtains..
The light fell on Roshni face
"Roshni, why are your eyes swollen, did you sleep at all? Sab teek hai?" she looked into her eyes, trying to read her expressions
"Nahi toh. ..I'm fine...but I'm starving Mom" Roshni gave a faint smile hoping she sounded convincing. .
"Are you sure Bacha?"
"Mom. I'm fine...relax"
DD made her way to the door, but before she made her exit, she turned to Roshni
"It's so good to have you here. ..This time with you means a lot"
"It means a lot to me to Mom..." replied Roshni...almost teary
"And ...mom I love you"
DD smiled "And I love you"
Roshni picked up her mobile, and sadness overcame her. There was still no message from Sidharth...
KHURANA HOUSE
Sidharth sat busy on his laptop...pretending to look busy, when Rahul came and sat beside him...
He placed his ipad on the table and video called Soniya..In view of Sidharth
"Hey Jellybeans. ..missing you so much...muwaaah"
"Missing you too my. ..honeybuns" replied Soniya, taking a sip from her mug
"What's my Munchin drinking? "
"Coffee. .but it's really hot!"
"But it can't be as Hot as you Baby"
"Awww honey so sweet..." she replied blushing
"Awww my Baby Booboo, my khuchi coo. ..mushy wushy"
Sidharth rolled his eyes "What sort of language is that?" he mumbled under his breath. ..
He looked up..and his eyes tried to find Roshni in the video..
"Hey JeejuSa what's up?"...looking busy"
"Yeah very busy.." he pretended as his eyes searched for Roshni
""What happened JeejuSa. ..apki ankhen kis ko dhund rahi hai??"
"No one...I was ah..." without finishing his sentence, he looked down at his laptop...
"Roshniii. ...Roshniii" called out Soniya, .and Sidharth immediately looked up...He hadn't seen her since the night before. ..His heart beat became erratic as he waited for one glimpse of her
"Coming" Roshni replied as she sat down next to Soniya
"Look..kisi ko Tumhari behad yaad aa rahi hai...your love.."
"Huh Sidharth? replied Roshni confused
Soniya cringed her eyebrows
"Obviously. ..aur koi hai tumhara love!" She shot sarcastically...
"Say hello to the boys" Soniya replied, pointing a finger to the ipad
"Boys??" Roshni turned and looked at the ipad and saw Sidharth...
An instant smile appeared..but it was soon replaced by a frown, as Sidharth pretended not to have noticed her .
"Arre wah Behna. Aaj kuch zyaada sundar lagri ho" Rahul said, as Sidharth raised an eye slightly to look
"Aur khafi cute bhi lagri ho. .Aur khafi pyari bhi"
"Thank you bhai.." Roshni replied waiting for Sidharth to say something
"Haaye" mumbled Sidharth under his breath "Sach mein..bohut khusorat lag rahe hai...gorgous" sighed Sidharth under his breath. Barely audible
"Did you say something Bro. .."
"Me...no...Why did you hear something? "
Rahul pretended he hadn't heard anything, and turned back to Soniya " I missy wissy you Baby..."
"And I missy wissy you...muwaaah" replied Soniya
"You know jellybeans..I couldn't sleep at all last night without you"
Sidharth turned to look at him and shook his head side to side
"Really..kab??
"Huh..." muttered Rahul
"When I called you at 4 am, you were fast asleep. Snoring...LIAR! "
Rahul turned to him and widened his eyes "Arre Kamine..chup! "
"Really" hissed Soniya
Rahul turned and looked at Soniya with a goofy smile
"No Jellybeans. ...I...I..."
"Liar. . I know for a fact, my souten apki neend hai" she growled
"Meri Jaan. ..my lollipop, I love you okay. I agree I love my sleep, but you are also important to me...promise" Rahul replied pinching his throat with his fingers
"WHAT!!! You mean to say that I am in the same category as your sleep. ..you are comparing me to your Neend. .." hissed Soniya angrily. ..narrowing her eyes at him.
"Arre Jellybeans...of course not...nothing can come close to your importance. ..It will always be you on top of my list..and besides Jellybeans if I don't sleep, then how will I meet you in my dreams."
"I better be! Otherwise tu toh gaya"
Sidharth tried his best not to giggle
Rahul turned and gave a side smile to Sidharth
"Sale kameena! !! Here I am trying to patch up things between my Bro and Sis...and yeh salla Sidharth, is trying his best to start a fight between me and my Jellybeans. Ballai ka zamana nahin raha" he thought to himself
Moments past...but Sidni sat quiet, stealing glances at each other every now and then. ...but neither said a word
Soniya looked at Rahul...and winked
"So JeejuSa. ..don't you want to say anything to Roshni?"
Sidharth looked up, and saw Roshni eyes lowered
"Ah..nothing..." he replied.
Roshni lifted her eyebrows
"Ah...Sonu ask your JeejuSa if he has taken his medicine...He needs to complete the course .."
Sidharth looked up from his laptop and narrowed his eyes
"Rahul tell your Behna. .I'm a grown man. I can look after myself! "
""Grown...hahaha. ..Sonu tell your JeejuSa, although he has grown on the outside...his mind is not more than a five year old" she teased
Sidharth closed his laptop, and narrowed his eyes at Roshni
"Rahul tell your behna..that at least I have a brain...:"
Roshni furrowed her eyes as she looked up at the screen...
"Sonu...I think tumhara JeejuSa, peda hote hi, aise hi sadu huwa hoga!"
"What" glared Sidharth...and gave a you are a stupid look and retorted immediately
"Rahul tell your Behna. ..that at least I was born a sadu, and not a dokebaaz like her!"
"Huh dokebaz. ...Sonu...Tell your JeejuSa. ..that iss ke tho dimaag naam ki cheez kuch nahin hai..aur..." before she could finish her sentence,
"Guys...just stop it...Both of you" shrieked Soniya, as she glared at them.both
"Seriously guys, yeh kya drama laga raha hai tum dono new. Let me remind you guys that you are not kids,, but full grown ups!!! So for God Sakes at least try and act like ones" Soniya scolded both of them
"Sorry" Sidharth and Roshni both said in collision
"Hmmm. .you better be" Soniya replied rolling her eyes
"Hmmm...I am... but Sonu it's your JeejuSa fault. Ek toh yeh galti karta hai, uske upar, he is showing me attitude. Tell him to show his drama to someone who is actually interested" complained Roshni
"Hahaha. ...I'm showing attitude...look who's talking Miss Roshni Attitude Queen!"
"Shut up ok...you Junglee doggy " whimpered Roshni
"What did you call me...you...you Jungle billi!"

Sidharth turned his gaze to him angrily, and gave him a cold stare before grabbing his car keys and running out of the house

"Oh God...who the hell is bashing the door that way.." she complained
The door opened and without even sparing a second..Sidharth began to call out

Roshni looked at him baffled, wondering what was wrong with him. He sounded so vulnerable. .so weak..
"Sidharth what are you talking about?"
"Roshni...Do you know I almost died. ..Roshni...I can't bare to see you in any pain

"Arre. .The coffee...fell on you...where did it it burn you...Kahan jhalla?" Sidharth caressed her hand

"The coffee was cold...it just stained my clothes so I was taking a shower. . ."

"Aisa kuch nahin hua. .I'm fine Sidharth" she uttered, controlling her tears..

Roshni gently caressed his hair "Sidharth I'm fine. ..I'm okay sachi"
She smiled, but in that split second, she remembered she was supppsed to be angry
"Sidharth..I'm fine..." she said removing her hand from his, and turned her face away...folding her arms across her chest
"Huh..." answered a bewildered Sidharth
Then it clicked...He also remembered he too was angry... and turned his face to the other side. ...
Both stood with their backs to each other
Minutes passed in silence
"I think you should leave" mumbled Roshni

He placed a trail of kisses along her neck, until she felt his lips by her ear
"I'm so sorry Baby..." he whispered again. His voice husky...His breath warm against her skin
