Sawariya might be his worse till date followed by Guzaarish which was painfully slow.

No!! Cos that would mean I am lame too 😆 Surely no one thought of that couple as legendary?

It's surprising actually because SLB has wanted to make BM for the longest, longest time. First with Salman/Aish, then when he realised that'd only ever be wishful thinking 😆, he had his heart set on Salman/Kareena and Rani as Kashibai. But he wanted to present Salman/Kareena as a fresh new pairing and they musta signed Kyonki so he didn't make it. More than 10 years later he got to make it finally with Ranveer/Deepika and after watching the characters I'm like, ey? This is his dream Bajirao & Mastani? Why did he wanna make a film on these 2 losers all these years 😆

From what I can tell, there's less of that "love story" angle from the PV trailer, and more an emphasis on villainy and "good vs evil". I think the conflict between the two male leads might actually salvage this film. It sucks for me, I'm a huge fan of Ranveer but I totally despise SLB...so it's like 4 years now that I'm stuck with this combination😆[/DIV]

Yeah exactly. 😆 Rather than their death touching me, I was more affected by Bajirao mistaking Kashibhai for Mastani.. The git! 😆

Ranveer is an awesome actor and I'm sure he'll enact his role well. But I feel for you, it's hard watching SLB films without getting annoyed 😆

I always have mixed feeling about SLB MOVIES-
Loved khamoshi and HDDCS.

Ram Leela was semi po*n. Guzarish was too slow. Love Sawariyya's songs but all that blue hurt my eyes after some time, black was good, in BM loved PC as kashibai and in Devdas loved only dances.

I have few hopes for Padma. It has that melancholy touch of his first movie which I love. SLB seems to be restrained with no overt sexuality. Which might make it watchable. And story is interesting. Biggest issue is - Shahid lacks regal bearing, DP lacks fire inside her (and that forehead makes her look awful at some points) and it feels like SLB thinks that Ranveer lacks skills to make his character complex. What else can explain that khilji. And production value is really not great. 😳
