Introduction:
Love stories...there are thousands of love stories in the world...some are unique while some are common but every love story has a thing in common and that is unconditional love... here I bring you another love story ...though common but still unique in its own way...set in the medieval century...it is the story of Omkara and Gauri and how their love story commences...
Chapter 1: The Daring Princess
Wearing a beautiful lehenga , she is running here and there in a big park...her anklets are ringing producing a mesmerizing sound all around...her glittering lehenga is increasing the grace of the sound while a beautiful smile on her face is complementing her beautiful looks...her eyes are shown...two beautiful mesmerizing eyes and then her face...
She is running here and there when she hears a sound " Gauri...Gauri..."
She stops and hugs a lady who came there from back... "ji ma...any work?" she asks in her sweet voice.
" Beta , your father is calling you in the darbar ...so I called you..." a lady (Gauri's mother) turns and says.
" ji ma..." she again says going inside when her mother holds her arm...she turns with a questioning look when her mother takes a pallu and puts on her head..."now you should go..." she says staring at Gauri for her careless behaviour.
Gauri shakes her head in a " I don't care" manner and runs inside like a wind.
Her mother stands there tensed and thinks "don't know how would she react...???"
Gauri reaches the RajDarbar and says "pranam pitaji...you called me here???"
RajaJi(Her father) looks at her, tension visible in his gaze , still gathering some courage, he speaks " beta...we have decided to arrange your marriage..."
Gauri is shocked "But.."
But her mother comes from back and holds her arm to prevent her from speaking...she takes her inside...Gauri's father too follows them...
" you decided to marry me ...???" Gauri asked her father, she was totally shocked.
" Beta...he is a really good person... King Omkara...your would be happy with him..."
" OmKara" As soon as the name hit Gauri's ears , she was more shocked... "Omkara...Pitaji..he is your enemy...that cruel prince...and you want me to marry him...you were the one who told me how bad he was..." Gauri asked staring at him with tears as she couldn't even believe that her life would change soo soon...
" Beta...we don't have any other option...he is planning an attack on our kingdom...we'll have to be his relatives to prevent that attack...you know his representatives were sitting outside ...they just wanted to know your opinion thats why we took you here..." Her mother says tensed.
" I will marry anybody Pitaji...but not that cruel prince...I beg you Pitaji...please ..." Gauri said almost falling in her father's feet as she remembers the stories of his cruelty she heard from different places...
Shamsher(Her father) had tears while he left saying " Gauri...its your decision ...I won't force you but please think about our kingdom and its people..."
Her mother too left.
In few minutes the smiling face was having tears...she didn't knew how to react...she hated him...people used to say that he was the worst human...how could she marry him...he did this to marry her...so that her parents are forced...she used to hate him and now seeing this...she hates him more...more and more with each passing moment.
She sat on the cold floor crying when suddenly a child came running in her room.
" Gauri Bua...Gauri Bua...why are you crying ???" he asked taking her tears in his hands.
"I don't know I have to take a decision...but I feel I can't take it..." she said staring at him, still with tears.
" Bua...you only taught me na that we should take the decisions which are correct according to us so why are you worrying...just listen to your heart..." the child said as he went outside.
Gauri looked towards him going...yaa...how can she give up soo soon...she'll have to fight...she'll have to make her parents realize that they can't give up because that will be wrong...she can't let them give up without trying.
She stood up...wiped her tears and ran outside...she ran in full speed and then to the darbar.
" Gauri..." Shamsher said as he eyed her coming.
"I won't marry anybody...I won't ..." Gauri said breathing heavily staring at her parents determined.
The representatives of Omkara were shocked.
" you told us that you want Raja Omkara to marry your daughter and thats why we came here and she is insulting him infront of so many people...now get ready for the battle which you are gonna loose for sure..." One of them spoke up.
Gauri stared at them angrily while one of them looked up at her...he was eyeing her continuously and thought "no problem...if you don't want to marry Omkara then thats good for me..."
He smiled evilly thinking this.
Gauri saw him from among that group and stared at him puzzled.
She then spoke angrily "lets see...who wins ...truth or your Omkara's ego..."
She runs outside saying this while all the representatives of Omkara and the other members present in darbar are left dumbstruck.
She was a daring Princess, indeed one.

Author's Note: Hello Friends, actually first of all I wanted to share that this story is a converted story (With improvements) of my another story which was posted on some other couple and not originally on RiKara, I truly wanted to write something on only RiKara since long but I don't have time to write any new story and at the same time, not getting some particularly fitted story for my RiKara drabbles so not even updating that thread thats why I wished to convert this story on RiKara, its a short story of 15 Chapters and Epilogue and I truly hope you tolerate with this story and like it too.This story is inspired from Jodha-Akbar(Movie+Serial). Also Shamsher is an imaginary character as no mention was there about Gauri's father in the serial. One more thing, can anybody tell me Gauri's mother's name in the show? It doesn't seem to be clicking me...I hope you liked it...
