girls families generally are more understanding when it comes to functions in their house that clashes with a function at her in laws but these parents, in the promos are like waiting at the door or giving each other worried consoling looks coz she hasnt come yet.
i was newly married when my inlaws and my parents had a function on the same night, and my dad asked me to go to my inlaws first and then come home and we did that..no 'dilemmas' or hassles...

i can already see this show being a long drawn out saga of unimportant issues...lets hope im wrong 😆

may be you are used to make ur parents compromise for most of the functions in ur family ....to avoid so called hassles ...i would definetely not agree with u saying ..girls family is more understanding n shud adjust ...its crap ...they r mostly forced or emotionally blackmailed by their stupid man made traditions ....am a gal too ...n am married ...me n my hubby started a family of our own ...his parents n my parents form equal role ..in every decision ...n both come to our house when ever they want to ...not trying to show dominence on either sides..if some times inlaws compromise on few things some times ...parents ...its not necessary that @ going to inlaws functions r obvious n parents cud have arranged theirs on a seperate day .

the stupidest part is when they show this promo right after that "k for kishore" promo. in that one they have someone pretending to be himesh reshammiya and someone else tells him to shut up or something...so basically they're making fun of himesh. and then in the next promo they play a song (the title song of this show) whose tune is a copy of himesh's composition from apne. what losers. 😕

everytime the ad comes my mom says "this is so dumb". does that mean she is immature also? come on guys we all have our opinions. some of us just don't like the concept. respect that. we're not disrespecting the fact that it appeals to you but it just does not appeal to us. infact it doesnt even appeal to rameshwariji (who is acting as aastha's mom in the serial). does that make her immature also??

thanks you everyone for replying to this topic i had forgotten i had made this topic. i dont get peopleing calling others immature if they think this shows premise is funny, frankly i'm probally one of the oldest people on IF 😆 also yes there are cases where daughter in laws and stuck in the middle but really are the the rule or the exception? i'd say there the exception and it doesnt happen very much.

Like silvermoon...I too have a very resposible job and unlike the person who said we were too busy "going to nightclubs" and "pickin up boys"...I'd like to see you say that to our faces. And although people have conflicts in life...the concept of this topic is to discuss how stupid the promo is. The audience's have had enough of conflict on tv...maybe thats the reason why WE actually have so much havoc in real life...due to the negative stuff they keep showing on tv.

also to the people that disagree with the original post and are asking for this topic to be closed, why are you doing that? agree or disagree dont get upset and try to get the topic closed its not big deal😆 i started this thing liek a month ago and forgetton that i even posted it.
