AY, I actually went back after the episode yesterday to watch last years KC to see which was better, both were good in the circumstance which played but editing being the exception in yesterdays 😆

Was watching last year's KC scenes to contrast...really, they've come such a LONG way since then...Shivaay's curiosity to know WHY Anika isn't keeping a fast...lol...the way he inadvertently "loses his appetite" when he hears her talk admiringly of the Oberoi men fasting for their significant others...

BilluJi was so cute in it, though he kept denying he is fasting & that too for Tia 😳 😆

...I still have a soft corner for that Bolna sequence and Billu unable to help himself from walking over to her...lol...such a goner he was...

There was too much nain-mataka happening b/w these two 😆 Shivaay couldn't keep his eyes off Anika & I felt she was expecting him to say something & was disappointed when Tia came in'between but what will always be a mystery 😆

And yeh wala fall when neither of them were looking at the chaand...LOL

And the "Mom, mera jaana zaroori hai"...Pinky aur Tia dekhte reh gaye...ROFL

I know, kitna caring hai Billu to his employees that he left his fiance to do TLC 🤣

Note on yesterday's KC - Though Anika's salwar, hairstyle & make-up which is super meh these days she looked so so so lovely in the episode 😳 It is Shvika in their element which is why me & others are still sticking to IB with the crappy tracks, extras & other brain numbing things 😆 Cute gifs 😳

PS: Kudos to NM for giving us the quintessential shivika scene inspite of his illness 😊

PPS: Saw some parallels of shivika KC scene with SRK-Kajol scenes from K3G 😳

PPPS: The mixing of scenes in KC got me 🤢 but asking for single scenes w/o interruption is too much 🤔 They did the same though last year with 3 pairs

The fact these two stole away to have their own little celebration amidst the crowd was so wonderful to see. NarBhi were so adorable, the kiss..the coy look of Anika to the whole breaking the fast scene.

I liked the elephant print on their kurtas, matching.. just ignored the long tassels from Anika's kurta..

Utterly floored by NM-SC. I was recollecting the moments from last year's KC... SC in yellow n now NM in yellow.. loved the colours. It was traditional filled with their own special care n moments.

Yep these two got to be by themselves without any nonsense hanging around...they got the solemnity of the breaking the fast scene just right too...the right balance of sweetness and poignance.

The colors were indeed quite nice despite the haathis and weird long tassels...they looked good otherwise😆

Yep, they do love their reboots and parallels...haha but it was a nice parallel to connect to last time...something different in showing the guy fainting during KC for once😆

Annika looked so cute trying to find a gift in that big box and Shivaay looked ready to laugh at her antics. Although the card thing was random I enjoyed their bantering over it!

Loved the KC part! It was funny at some parts but poignant during some and that balance is so very ShivIka so I loved it! Shivaay looked like a kid being scolded when Annika was reading him the riot act about the medicines.

LOL yes ekdum chhota sa maasoom baccha...it's like he was just too tired to even argue...NM's real life illness was adding to the believability of a vulnerable Shivaay in that bit...bas sir jhuka ke sun raha tha Anika ki daant ko😆

Anika digging through the big box was cute even though the scene was shot seperately.

@bold: That's true...lol atleast compared to other disasters, for once Anika actually looked like a Punjabi newlywed bride/bahu😆 and that yellow was looking good on Shivaay too.

Editing really messed with the Shivika KC yesterday...they didn't let the emotions play out in one flow and kept stuffing other things in...that is why I edited out the scene so it could all be watched in one flow...lol

But despite all that, NM-SC nailed the feel of the KC in a quintessential Shivika way...haha@ K3G parallels...Well, NM toh does go into his SRK mode a lot😆 and SC has the bindaas natural vibe of Kajol...so ho gaye TV ke SRK-Kajol yeh dono😆

Last year's KC was all about them battling their attraction towards each other...like in that Bolna scene, the way they couldn't help but stare at each other and ultimately he was walking over to her, she was expecting him to talk to her when Tia interrupted...the feel of that moment was built up so well...that phase when the intensity was building up b/w them at a time when Shivaay didn't have the guts to admit what he was feeling for her but still couldn't help running after her 24/7, ultimately rushing to her when she fainted, walking off with her in his arms with Tia brushed aside in the blink of an eye...LOL then fussing over her and then freaking out that she may say ILU to him...hahaha

And now in this KC, they are in this content space with each other after having overcome so many challenges, finally happily married and able to soak up these moments together...the traditions, the emotional attachment to the rituals, to each other...you can see the value of that in their eyes in this scene...the side hug especially said so much.

Quite a journey these two have had over the last year! Lovely clips for fb!

That breakfast table wala scene! Its been ages since the family has had breakfast together!😆 And what have they done to Rudy? Pinky bhi? 😕
