Generally speaking, I did not enjoy the patchy editing today intercutting b/w scenes of all the pairs and characters, but Shivika basically WON the epi in the last 4-5 minutes of the KC bits...
A few things I must point out today:
1) Anika looked GORGEOUS despite an outfit with weird tassels hanging from it and HAATHIS printed on itđ
2) SC cries so so SO beautifully when directed nicely...those tear filled smiles...this is what she aces...not the loud wailing they make Anika do sometimes.
3) Poor NM looked very OBVIOUSLY ill in all his scenes, and STILL the guy managed to deliver such sweet Shivika scenes for the audience today so really props to him for thatđ
Now on to the gifsđ
Shivaay's version of a "sweet dish" and Anika's turn to be zapped todayđ
Billu proved that he is a MAGICIAN when his ninja hair flick managed to produce LIGHT todayđ¤Ł
SO many things I must ask here...was Khanna hiding somewhere in the background waiting to flip a switch at his Sir's "signal"? đđ...did he then sit and record the whole scene like he usually does for Shivika? LOL...most importantly, HOW did NM-SC do this scene with a straight face?đ
Then came the actual KC...again, I must pause and point out what a mix of tradition, poignancy and trademark Shivika irreverence this was...Shivaay so excited to coach her through the pooja, Anika laughing when she threw the flowers on himđ, then getting emotional when she touches his feet, but he stops her and kisses her hands instead in such a cherishing way...and then ofcourse proceeds to faintđ...But some super sweet bits...especially the way he made her have the water.
One of my fav. bits today mainly for how BEAUTIFULLY SC cried in this bit...bahut hi sweet bit tha...with such endearing touches like Shivaay again teasing her about her tears and her bursting out laughing...NM-SC really ace this so naturally no matter how many times we've seen this bit of Anika crying and Shivaay wiping her tears/chiding her for cryingđ
And my other fav. bit...the mithaai bit...LOL only these two, ONLY these two can manage to make even the act of feeding each other mithaai their own little fun adventure...from the face she makes when he first produces the mithaai to splitting the mithaai into two/removing the mithaai wrapper, to then doing nautanki of eating it himself first, and her pouting to pull his hand over to eat the mithaai...and little stuff like the YUMMY wala face she made after eating the mithaai...THAT right there is what makes them so endearing...sooo sweetly they do stuff like this
I was reminded of Shivaay's lines from the vow scene while watching this...that every moment with her is like an adventure...this scene personified that spirit of fun and adventure even in the midst of such a traditional festival...LOL these two manage to find their fun in anythingđ...that's what makes them unique :)
